The Bold and the Beautiful news says that while Deacon Sharpe is the kind of person that you would have to think twice about if you wanted to spend time with him, that’s not the case at all when it comes to his portrayer, Sean Kanan.

In fact, it seems like everyone wants to get up close and personal with the handsome daytime television actor and believe it or not, there’s a chance that you can as he will be making a very special appearance in the Garden State real soon. Here’s what you need to know.

According to Soap Opera Digest, Sean will be on hand to host an event in Atlantic City, New Jersey on January 7. He will be at the Atlantic City Comedy Club at the Celebrity Theater at The Claridge. The festivities kick off on Saturday, January 7th and tickets range from $19 to $34. How exciting!

Back in October, Sean opened up about Deacon’s evolution on The Bold and the Beautiful. Speaking to Soap Opera Digest in an interview, Sean said that the Deacon you see today is not the same Deacon you saw yesterday. He said, “I think, as happens with most angry young men, a combination of age, wisdom and life experience hopefully manages to wring some of that out of him, and that certainly happened with Deacon. Being loved by Hope has done enormous things for Deacon’s character. I think, for the most part, Deacon has been a fairly honorable guy.”

He also added, “I don’t condone how he behaves with Brooke and Ridge’s marriage. That is not something I would do but I think he has learned to like himself a little more. He still feels like that guy who’s on the outside looking in. If I were Deacon, I would be thinking now more than ever, ‘What the hell am I going to do? I don’t want to be working at Il Giardino for the rest of my life. I want to make a move. How am I going to accomplish this?’ I think that is Deacon’s inner monologue. He’s around these fabulously wealthy people and does his best to hide the fact that it’s probably humiliating for him because he’s the guy who cleans the toilets when his daughter and her husband come into Il Giardino. But he has a strong why, which is, ‘I’m going to do this and stay out of jail and be a father to my daughter,’ and there is honor in that. God bless him.”
