My Big Fat Fabulous Life fans like Glenn Thore and in the new season, they will watch him bury his wife, Babs. In the trailer for the show, fans saw Whitney Way Thore being rescued in Switzerland in a helicopter. And now she’s in “helicopter” mode because her dad was in a car accident.

These days, Whitney Way Thore keeps a close eye on her dad, Glenn. That is because he lost interest in life after Babs died. So, she chatted with Hunter, her brother and they made him a bucket list of things to do. One of those things was going up a mountain in Switzerland but his daughter couldn’t cope with the lack of oxygen and had to get rescued. So, Glenn feared that he might lose his daughter as well as his wife.

In the first week of August, My Big Fat Fabulous Life fans heard that Glenn would have celebrated his 46th anniversary if Babs had still been alive. While that seems rather sad, there could have been a sadder outcome. Whitney took to her Instagram this week and shared that her dad had a car accident. And, he was sent to the ER. Is he going to be okay?

Taking to her Instagram, Whitney shared some video footage of the collision with Another car. The fire department and EMTs were there. Plus, she shared a photo of her father in a medical facility. In her caption, she wrote, “This helicopter daughter is helicoptering! ? Hug your daddies tight. Glenn Thore will be protected at all costs!“

The My Big Fat Fabulous Life star also told her fans that he was discharged, after discovering a “broken bone in his ankle.” So, they grabbed some “Starbucks.” She asked him, as if he was about eight, what he was going to do next. So, he replied, saying, “rest.”

My Big Fat Fabulous Life fans took to the comments and of course, most of them were pleased that Glenn Thore seems to be okay. One of them wrote, “I’m glad he’s ok! I’d be a helicoptering daughter if my parents were still alive too. ❤️? You’re a wonderful daughter. ?.”

Meanwhile, another follower commented, “So sorry that this happened but so glad that he’s okay! Don’t worry Glen I must have my daily coffee as well lol”

More followed, and a sweet fan said kindly, “Take care Glenn. Sorry to hear you got hit in an accident. Let that broken bone heal at its own pace. Very glad to hear that was the only serious injury you sustained. Outside of this accident, you’re looking really great.!!??
