Mama June Shannon Ties The Knot With Justin Stroud For The Second Time

Is the third time still a charm, or has the second taken over? In case you have doubts that Mama June Shannon is off the market after her first Georgia courthouse wedding which took place on March 23, 2022, then this second one will put your mind at ease.

For the second time in nearly a year after their first “I Do,” Mama June and her husband Justin Stroud said “I Do” to “together forever” on February 18, at SpringHill Suites in Panama City, Florida.

You’re probably wondering, second wedding? Why? Did they separate? Well, no. They didn’t separate, they just wanted to wed twice.

Mama June News — Mama June Had An “Intimate Oceanfront Ceremony”

According to “WE tv’s” press release, the “Mama June Road To Redemption” star had an “intimate oceanfront ceremony” with all her four daughters in attendance.

Since her children didn’t make it to her first wedding with Justin (although they secretly got married without informing them), it’s fitting that they are present at her second wedding with him.

All Mama June’s daughters from Alana “Honey Boo Boo” Thompson, Lauryn “Pumpkin” Efird, Jessica “Chubbs” Shannon, to Anna “Chickadee” Cardwell were present on her big day including her grandchildren Stella, Sylus, and Bentley Efird.

Mama June told “WE tv” that since the year 2014, her second wedding is the first time that all her family ever gathered together in one place. “This was the first time the family had all been together since 2014,” said Mama June. “So it was really special to get married in a place where my family and I have had so many memories!”

The bride and groom looked their best on their big day, with Mama June rocking a wedding gown from David’s Bridal, while Justin adorned a black and white tuxedo with a touch of turquoise tie from E&S Formal in Montgomery, Alabama.

Mama June shared that they wanted to have a private and “intimate” ceremony hence the few people in attendance. Her daughters walked her down to Justin while Justin’s mom walked him down the aisle.

“We wanted to have a small and very intimate wedding, so we didn’t have any groomsmen or bridesmaids. All four of my girls walked me down to Justin, and his mom walked him down the aisle.” Said the reality tv star.

Mama June, 43, and Justin Stroud, 34, first tied the knot last year on March 23, 2022, while she was still in a custody battle with Lauryn “Pumpkin” over daughter Alana “Honey Boo Boo”. None of her family members knew when she got married to Justin until months later when she made the announcement on Instagram. Her post read;

“Yes, I was scared at first. Yes I was. But you have showed what true love really is – to feel love for the first time in 41 years. You are so awesome, so caring, so loving, and you put up with all my bulls**t and goofiness. And even when I get on your nerves you still love me through it all. In less than a year, we have been through a lot. But you know what, we have made it through it TOGETHER. Even when people in our life don’t want us together, we stayed strong TOGETHER.”

Anyways, it seems like Mama June is now on the same page with her family. Her recent wedding with Justin will be aired in their upcoming Mama June: FamilyCrisis scheduled to premiere on May 5 at 9 p.m. ET on WE tv.
