Jim Bob Duggar Is Full Of Anger Over The Contents Of Daughter Jill Duggar’s Tell-All Book

As promised to her fans and readers, Jill Duggar’s tell-all book “Counting The Cost” had lots of bombshells in it. One of the things discussed in the book was how Jill’s parents Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar reacted after discovering that their eldest son Josh molested five girls in his teenage years.

Josh Duggar – Was Backed Up By His Parents.

Despite knowing that four out of the five girls were his daughters, Jill included, Jill revealed that her parents backed Josh up in his abominable character. She wrote, “Watching the way my parents protected my brother… it’s still hard to swallow.”

She shared that at a point she lashed out at her dad, crying, “You treat me worse than you treat my pedophile brother.” Despite her outcry, nothing changed.

Jim Bob Duggar Is Full Of Anger Over The Contents Of Daughter Jill Duggar's Tell-All BookFollowing the revelations in Jill’s book, an insider close to the Duggars told “In Touch Weekly” that although Jim and his wife act like they’re doing their best to mend their home, “behind the scenes, Jim Bob and Michelle are seething.”

The insider went on to say, “Not only has Jill humiliated them by sharing private family information, but they feel she’s depicted them as monsters. For Jill to tell her story without their consent is seen as a betrayal. The shocking thing is, in Jim Bob and Michelle’s eyes, this book will harm the family more than Josh’s abuse scandal did.”

Jim Bob Duggar — Amy Duggar’s Support

Right from when Jill announced that she was writing a book about her experiences growing up in her strict Christian family, Jill’s notorious cousin Amy Duggar, and her mom Deonna were the only ones always showing their support to Jill both privately and publicly.

On the day Jill’s book was released which was on September 12, Amy wrote on Instagram, “May God bless the people who read your heart! You are going to help so many hurting people and that’s what it’s all about. I understand being cautious to trust, we’ve talked about it and It’s still so difficult given what all we’ve been through, but through it all I’m so glad God has given us strength.”

Amy added, “I’ve said it so many times and it’s still so true, I love how you and @derickdillard stand for truth! God goes before you both! Cheering you on all the way! Love, Ames.”

A week after that, Amy Duggar took to her Instagram account to congratulate Jill once again and also wish that the book become a New York Times bestseller.

In the post which the TLC alum captioned “Instant NYT BESTSELLER!!” With a picture of herself, her mom Deonna Duggar, and Jill, Amy made sure to tag Jill and Jill’s husband Derick Dillard on it.
