Royal Family News says that Meghan Markle might not be too happy with Netflix right now. That’s because Chris Rock managed to slam the Duchess of Sussex by suggesting that she might have over-exaggerated her royal family racism claims in his new Netflix special.

While on stage, Chris touched on the Meghan Markle and royal family feud and said, “Sometimes it’s just some in-law s—. Because she’s complaining, I’m like, ‘What the f— is she talking about? ‘They’re so racist, they wanted to know how brown the baby was going to be…’ I’m like, ‘That’s not racist,’ cause’ even Black people want to know how brown the baby gon’ be. S—. We check behind them ears.”

He then continued, “Like, didn’t she hit the light-skinned lottery. And she’s still going off complaining? Black girl trying to be accepted by her white in-laws. Oh, it’s hard. It’s so hard, it’s very hard — but it ain’t as hard as a white girl trying to be accepted by her Black in-laws. Now, that s— is really hard. If you Black, and you wanna be accepted by your white in-laws, then you need to marry a Kardashian. Because they accept everybody. Kris Jenner is like the Statue of Liberty.”

Meghan Markle herself has not made any comments about Chris Rock’s jokes at her expense, but it’s doubtful that she will say anything. Still, a lot of royal fans can’t help but wonder if Meghan might be upset that Netflix even allowed Chris Rock to go after her in the way that he did. After all, both Meghan and Prince Harry managed to generate a lot of money and publicity for the online streaming giant as their docuseries became the most watched one in Netflix’s history. Clearly, someone has got to feel uncomfortable about working with a network that will allow someone else to slam you in the way that Chris did to Meghan.
