General Hospital spoilers and updates for Tuesday, December 26 tease unexpected intruders, narrow escapes and heartfelt confessions.

General Hospital Spoilers Highlights

Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) looks for an unexpected intruder, Nina Reeves Corinthos (Cynthia Watros) makes a heartfelt confession and Esme Prince (Avery Kristen Pohl) makes a narrow escape.

General Hospital Spoilers – Surprise, Surprise

Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Chavez) was surprised to say the least, when Esme brought Ace Prince-Cassadine (Joey and Jay Clay) to the Collins house to stay there.

The original plan was for Spencer to come to Esme’s apartment to spend Christmas Eve with her and Ace, but she brought him there instead. Spencer tells Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali) who’s also there with him and the Collins family that maybe Esme has a heart after all.

Spencer had noticed something off with Esme earlier but couldn’t put his finger on it. Little does he or Kevin and Laura Collins (Jon Lindstrom, Genie Francis) know she’s gotten all her memories back-and personality!

GH Spoilers – Crying Over You-

Esme’s broken into Wyndemere and is in the living room crying and talking to a photo, it appears to be on her cell phone.

It could be a photo of Spencer, with Esme’s old feelings for him returned-she cries, “all you care about is her!”

Or might she have a photo of Nikolas Cassadine (Adam Huss) and be referring to Ava Jerome (Maura West)?

Esme was over Spencer for a long time, or so she said, before she disappeared, caught by Nikolas in the living room of Wyndemere and assumed to be the Hook.

General Hospital Spoilers – Unexpected Intruders

Dante’s with Ava talking about the intruder alert she got about someone breaking into Wyndemere, and he finds her with a gun.

He says she looks like she’s looking for an intruder to shoot. Dante advises her to let him handle it although she’s assuming it’s Nikolas and doesn’t want to back off.

Dante doesn’t know about the notes, the gun, and the photos of a dead Austin Gatlin-Holt (Roger Howarth) she’s been finding.

It wouldn’t make a lot of sense for Nikolas to break in through the glass French doors unless Ava had the secret entrance walled off.

She would have done that when she put the castle and island up for sale, or possibly before.

GH Spoilers – Carly Spencer’s Conversation

Elsewhere, Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) is having a conversation with someone and tells them she knows what they’re going to say, and she looks a bit sad.

It looks like she’s still at the hospital where the Christmas story was read for the children. It must be shaping up to be more of a blue Christmas than a happy one for some reason, maybe she’s just missing Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) who’s still in Australia.

Soon, he’ll be back, and she’ll have an exciting story to tell-a WSB director busted at Kelly’s!

General Hospital Spoilers – Chaplain Approved

Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober) is in the hospital chapel, where the chaplain (uncredited actor) tells him Cyrus’ friend is lucky to have him looking out for them.

Cyrus has been hanging around the chapel and overheard Nina praying and asking the chaplain, who appears to be a Catholic priest, if he had time for a confession later. Cyrus seems to be cozying up to the chaplain, who’d told Nina he could a little later.

Cyrus seems to be hinting at a new job with this chaplain, after all he led a “church” group while still in Pentonville. But wouldn’t he have to be ordained, or something, to work as a hospital chaplain?

GH Spoilers – Sonny Corinthos And Laura Collins Look For Answers

Meanwhile, Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) and Laura will look for answers-Spencer thought it seemed strange that Esme changed her mind and left Ace with him.

But now no one can find her-Laura can’t get ahold of her on the phone, and Sonny learns there’s been a break-in at Wyndemere.

Ava thinks it’s Nikolas because of all the notes and photos and the gun that was left, but Sonny hasn’t let Dante or Laura in the loop regarding that.

It sounds like Laura could be expressing a worst case scenario worried about either one of them, and Sonny says that’s not going to happen.

General Hospital Spoilers – Heartfelt Confessions

At the hospital chapel, there’s a confessional, and Nina is in it pouring out her heart. She doesn’t know that behind the partition it’s not the hospital chaplain she talked to earlier, it’s Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober)!

She tells him she doesn’t know where else to turn, and Cyrus listens and hangs on her every word, acting as priestly as possible.

 The big question is, will Cyrus keep this all confidential like a priest is supposed to do, or will he tell Nina later that he was the priest? Or worse yet, tell someone else because it’s their right to know?

GH Spoilers – Narrow Escapes

Esme was just in the living room of Wyndemere crying out her boo hoos and now Dante is entering with gun drawn and a very worried Laura behind him!

They could be looking for Nikolas, Esme, or both and she’s in the same predicament she was the night Ace was conceived! Esme is able to make a narrow escape, but will she have to hide out on the parapet again?

There is evidence Nikolas may be in town, but likely not inside Wyndemere unless he’s in a secret room-there are several of those, as well as an escape tunnel.
