On top of caring for Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen) every day and worrying that she may not get the bone marrow transplant she needs to survive, he’s carrying this torch in the name of hating his father and it’s getting rather heavy. When Michael sits down with Brook Lynn, it’ll probably be upon her insistence. She can tell he’s not as happy with the situation with his father as he pretends to be.

Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) may have betrayed his son, and he may not even be sorry for it or regret it, but he and Michael can still move forward for the sake of their sanity and their family. Brook Lynn will try to remind Michael of this but she’s going to notice that he seems like he’s holding back. What is the real reason he can’t just drop this hatred for Sonny?

Brook Lynn will also paint a picture of reality for Michael. He isn’t happy; neither is Sonny. So what is the point of this standstill they are in? Why hold onto the anger if it isn’t helping anyone and is only serving to keep Sonny at a distance from his family? Couldn’t Michael’s children benefit from knowing their grandfather? Part of Michael wants to believe that, but the other part of him still thinks they need protection from Sonny more than anything.

Brook Lynn doesn’t know about Michael’s big plan to take his father’s criminal enterprise apart piece by piece, but it’s just days away from being dismantled and he’s not convinced it’s really what he wants. He better learn to act quickly if he wants any chance of fixing this.
