GH Spoilers Friday, March 17: Life’s Surprises, Second Thoughts, Unsustainable Promises

General Hospital (GH) spoilers and updates for Friday, March 17 tease life’s surprises, second thoughts, and unsustainable promises. Laura Collins (Genie Francis) tells someone life’s full of surprises, Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) might be having second thoughts, and Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) talks about unsustainable promises.

General Hospital Spoilers – Surprises

Laura tells someone that life is full of surprises, and it looks like she might be talking to someone at the safe house. Laura’s demeanor indicates that she may be talking about pleasant surprises, at least pleasant as far as she’s concerned. She very likely may be giving Valentin Cassadine, (James Patrick Stuart) Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) and Lucy Coe (Lynn Herring) an update on Victor Cassadine’s (Charles Shaughnessy) failing – health.

Valentin will offer his sympathy but it may be in jest – oh, poor papa, never to enjoy the pleasures of a woman again! The women may find themselves stifling giggles.

GH Spoilers – Someone’s Very Impatient

Lucy’s very impatient to get out of the safe house and take over what she fears is the ruination of the Nurses’ Ball; she doesn’t think anyone’s worthy except her. She pleads to be told that there’s an end to this nightmare, and she’ll make a bold move. But the takedown of Victor isn’t complete yet, they all may have to continue being patient as they hide out in the safe house and play dead. Her roommates are anxious for an end to the nightmare of her being their roommate to become a reality soon!

General Hospital Spoilers – Diane Miller Gives Good News

Diane Miller (Carolyn Hennesy) gives good news to the teens, who requested an immediate meeting following Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali) telling her idea. She told Cameron Webber, (William Lipton) Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) and Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Alexander Chavez) she wanted to get Esmé Prince’s (Avery Kristen Pohl) charges dropped. There was too much of a chance that if it went to trial with Esmé’s current condition the jury would feel sorry for her and declare her not guilty.

Diane will need to talk to DA Robert Scorpio (Tristan Rogers) but seems very optimistic, and says she’s about to make someone’s day. Trina has a very valid point.

GH Spoilers – Taking It Under Consideration

Robert looks a little confused, and asks what they suggests they do – Diane and possibly Trina will make their explanation. If Esmé’s charges are dropped for now they’ll still be hanging over her head should she get her memory back and be able to stand trial, or if she’s faking. If she’s faking she’s bound to slip up and back into her own ways, or at least that’s what Trina figures-on the other hand, she really does love her baby. Likely, had she been faking it would have come out when her parents took her from Spring Ridge that night and it didn’t.

General Hospital Spoilers – Someone Wants Out

Again, Deputy Mayor Eileen Ashby (Heather Mazur) tells Victor she wants out of her assignment. Victor asks her why on earth would she be done-or, is she just talking about being done with their affair when he has nothing to contribute? Victor’s having a difficult time with the side effects of the pathogen he ingested, and Dr. Hamilton Finn (Michael Easton) already told him there’s no cure.

It sounds like he suspects Eileen of being in on this poisoning, after he’d already accused Laura of being behind it. To a certain extent she was, but there are several people on the Victor Cassadine takedown committee!

GH Spoilers – Second Thoughts

Nina talks to Phyllis Caulfield (Joyce Guy) about Sonny Corinthos’ (Maurice Benard) business and the incident that she drug out of him. It sounds like she’s having second thoughts about Sonny and their being together because she can no longer pretend he’s not mobbed up. Phyllis asks her if this is a relationship she can sustain. It’s going to take a lot to stay with him when there’s a possibility every night that he may not come home again-does Nina have what it takes?

General Hospital Spoilers – Unsustainable Promises

Carly and Sonny find themselves in a familiar territory as they talk about Sonny’s being in danger again and unsustainable promises. She tells Sonny they both know that he cannot keep that promise, meaning keeping family and friends safe. As long as someone’s dealing with the mob, they very seldom leave it alive, as she reminded Josslyn recently talking about Dex.

Once again danger has come to Sonny with a new enemy in town, and that means everyone he knows is in danger with him. It’ll never stop.

GH Spoilers – Josslyn Jacks Confronts Dex Heller

Josslyn comes to confront Dex after knowing something went down for him to be staying with Sonny, and she saw him flinch so she knows there’s an injury. Dex is on his toes against the enemy, and he comes out the door with gun pointed and cocked; it may be Josslyn he’s pointing at! She’s not going to be happy with him for getting involved in violence but it’s not his fault he and Sonny were ambushed.

Cameron’s speech about dangerous men and Dex being one of them must be resonating. They will have some words, it’s certain.
