GH Spoilers: Esme Flees Wyndemere On Foot — And Ryan Chases After Her

General Hospital (GH) spoilers suggest Esme Prince (Avery Kristen Pohl) has been in for the ride of her life since she met Ryan Chamberlain (Jon Lindstrom). We may not know until hindsight whether Esme tracked Ryan down with a clear mind, or whether he latched onto her at first sight and began to manipulate the little girl in her who was so desperately seeking love from her daddy.

Regardless, he clearly got his hooks into his daughter. Since Esme lost her memory, she’s been quite a different person. She can’t stomach the thought that she has actually done any of the awful things people have told her she did. She doesn’t want to be that person, but it seems like she’s destined to be at least half-flawed, given her paternal genetics. When she finds out the maternal side isn’t much better, Esme isn’t going to handle the news well.

Finding out Ryan was her birth father came as a huge disappointment to Esme, but it didn’t seem to phase Ryan at all that she wasn’t happy about the news. It was clear at that moment that Heather Webber (Alley Mills) knew the truth the whole time and was always intending to get Esme and Ryan together.

Heather has sowed so much confusion for Esme — first telling her to steer clear of Ryan and later backpedaling and encouraging her to embrace her father and break out of prison with him. Why is that? Because Heather is Esme’s birth mother. When she finds out this truth, it’s going to send her spiraling.

Esme is going to take off fleeing from Wyndemere, which is really going to cramp Ryan’s style — and Heather’s. The news that Heather is her mother will be too much for Esme to bear. She wants away from both of them; she just wants to care for her baby and live her life in peace.

Ryan was already taking far too long getting this show on the road as he relished deeply in delight over having both Felicia Scorpio (Kristina Wagner) and Ava Jerome Cassadine (Maura West) in his presence. Heather’s plan was to hurry him along so they could get out of dodge, not send Esme into the woods with Ryan chasing after her — only further delaying their exit from Port Charles. Soon, the police will definitely be closing in on them.

It can’t get much worse than going into labor in the woods while on the run from a psychopathic killer. Just ask Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms)! Fortunately, Austin Gatlin Holt (Roger Howarth) isn’t too far away, but he might be out of commission since getting hooked. Will someone be able to come to Esme’s aid as she gives birth to Nikolas Cassadine’s (Adam Huss) child while her psycho parents watch on and keep two women hostage at gunpoint?
