General Hospital Spoilers: Esme Is In Labor! Who Will Take The Baby?

General Hospital Spoilers reveal Esme Prince (Avery Kristen Pohl) is going to be a mother soon. Her pregnancy has been a bumpy ride, although we weren’t aware of it during the first half of it. When she arrived at Wyndemere hoping to push Nikolas Cassadine (Adam Huss) into providing for her, she got a whole lot more than she asked for when she inadvertently became his hostage.

Held against her will in the north tower of his castle, Esme became a problem to death with rather than a mother expecting the birth of her child. She was promised a life free from persecution on a Greek island but instead opted to chase her own form of freedom and landed in prison. Now, she’s about to give birth and worries about what will become of her child after the fact.

General Hospital Spoilers — Nikolas Cassadine Seemed Kind

When Nikolas came to Spring Ridge to visit Esme, he seemed sincere about his intentions to raise their child and give him or her a good home. That’s because he was sincere, but then his other child, Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Chavez), ripped it all away from him. Leveraging his own confession about attacking Esme against him, Spencer was going to see to it that Nikolas would fork over custody of his child before they were ever born. Little did Nikolas know at the time that he wouldn’t be around to take care of his own child anyway.
GH Spoilers Hint That’s Not an Option Anymore

Nikolas isn’t going to be caring for anyone, not even himself. Ava Jerome Cassadine (Maura West) recently saw to it that Nikolas would never be bothering anyone again. He was furious with her after his conversation with his son. Realizing that Spencer had come into possession of his confession, which only Ava had access to up until that time, Nikolas couldn’t believe Ava would forsake him that way. Since all is fair in love and war, he showed up at Wyndemere to confront her and promise that he would also take her child away from her in the ultimate tit-for-tat. Ava couldn’t allow that to happen, so she bashed him over the head with a weighty knick-knack, and now Nikolas is no more. So, Esme might be expecting that her baby will be carted back to Wyndemere while she’s paying her dues in prison, but that’s not going to be the case.

GH Spoilers — Laura Collins And Liz Webber May Come Through

The two most likely people to come to baby Cassadine’s rescue are Elizabeth Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst) and Laura Collins (Genie Francis). Elizabeth is still feeling immense guilt about betraying her own moral code, as well as her son, Cameron ‘Cam’ Webber (William Lipton), by helping Esme to stay out of prison. She’s just about ready to confess to her crimes, so this could be the ideal time for her to find a new purpose — raising that baby. Of course, Laura is likely to step in and be of help, especially since she hasn’t any of her three children in town anymore. Stay tuned for more GH news and spoilers to see how this pans out.
