GH Spoilers: Could Drew’s Buried Secrets Hold The Map To Victor’s Mystery Site?

General Hospital (GH) spoilers and updates tease that Drew Cain’s (Cameron Mathison) buried secrets could hold the map to Victor Cassadine’s (Charles Shaughnessy) mystery site. Around a year ago, Victor was looking for information on Operation Demeter, a Navy Seals operation Drew had been part of and could relate to the encoded Ice Princess diamond coordinates.

General Hospital Spoilers – Above Anna Devane’s Pay Grade

Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) had tried to find out about the operation as well, but she was unable to access anything through her WSB contacts. It’s worth noting that Victor was once head of the WSB but apparently he couldn’t get anything on it either or he wouldn’t have tried to get it from Drew. But then the Navy is a different entity than the WSB and they may not have been sharing information, either-Anna would have had to have a Navy contact or a warrant.

Another apparently forgotten storyline item that could be relevant here is the conundrum box found in Cesar Faison’s (Anders Hove) office. Peter August (Wes Ramsey) had the Ice Princess necklace, it’s possible the conundrum box holds what Victor needs-but who would have the combination-it’s also in the hands of the WSB now.

GH Spoilers – A Lockbox In San Diego Has Not Been Brought Up

Another option that hasn’t been brought up is the lockbox Drew had in San Diego, that Franco Baldwin (Roger Howarth) left Drew a message about when he had his old memories. Drew was kidnapped by Victor not long after that, on the way to Afghanistan to return money stolen by Shiloh August (Coby Ryan McLaughlin) and Charles “Tex” Owen (uncast character).

But the recorded message apparently was lost when Franco’s mind was returned to Franco, and Drew had by that time disappeared-Victor could have known about that lockbox too. Unfortunately, Drew has no memory of it now and his old memories died when Andre Maddox (Anthony Montgomery) returned “Frankendrew” to Franco. Drew had mentioned at one time he didn’t want to retrieve his old memories if it meant losing those he made with Elizabeth Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst) and her boys.

General Hospital Spoilers – Operation Demeter Connected To Weather?

There is a real life scientific project under the control of the University of Alaska called “HAARP” or “The High-frequency Active Auroral Research Program”. It is a scientific endeavor aimed at studying the properties and behavior of the ionosphere, the area above the atmosphere next to outer space. Perhaps Operation Demeter was something like this real life project, studying the atmosphere, ionosphere, weather and the causes of it.

The Navy very well could have been involved in such a project and perhaps Victor wants to know more to recreate Mikkos Cassadine’s (John Colicos) weather machine. Victor keeps referring to the “Cassadine legacy) and including all branches of the Cassadine family, and the weather machine once controlled by the Ice Princess diamond would certainly fit!
