GH Spoilers: Cody Bluffs His Way To Padded Pockets, Thanks To Gladys — And Sasha

General Hospital spoilers tease Cody Bell (Josh Kelly) just wiped the floor with Gladys Corbin (Bonnie Burroughs), who has taken another serious beating at The Savoy. Cody is going to use that money to pay Scott Baldwin (Kin Shriner) to file a lawsuit against the WSB, alleging that their plan to dupe Victor Cassadine (Charles Shaughnessy) cost him his own personal fortune, courtesy of the guy he’s pretending is his father, Leopold Taub (Chip Lucia). It’s the perfect way for Cody to secure a windfall settlement that he just might float in Sasha’s direction to help her recoup the losses from Gladys’ gambling habits.

Sasha might have told Cody to take a hike, but he’s not going away that easily. There’s just something about her that he can’t resist, and apparently, he likes to be a hero.

Don’t ask us how he knew she was slated to reappear on Heart & Home, or how he knew he should be backstage making sure it all went off without a hitch.

Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) and Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton) are going to fawn over his instinct to protect Sasha though, and they might push her to give the guy another chance.

GH Spoilers – Report Gladys Should Be In The Corner

Of course, giving Cody another shot means they have to confront the elephant in the room. How can Sasha explain why she’s cavorting with Cody if he’s calling Gladys out for setting him up for a crime he didn’t commit?

She can’t — not comfortably, anyway. Sasha will have to confront the truth about Gladys on some level, with herself, to be able to move forward with Cody.

While he’s gone to great lengths to make sure she wasn’t embarrassed on national television, that’s probably not going to be enough to inspire a second chance from Sasha right now if it means forsaking her family.

All Sasha ever wanted was a family of her own. Raised by her grandmother, who is now deceased, she found the future when she met Brando Corbin (Johnny Wactor) and their one-night stand turned into a happily ever after.

No one knew it would end abruptly when he was brutally killed just months after their newborn son died following complications at birth.

To say Sasha has been through the wringer is an understatement, but Cody just might be the breath of fresh air she needs.
