GH Spoilers: Carly Wants Protection for Sonny — It Comes At A Cost

General Hospital spoilers tease Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) didn’t think twice before roping her son — Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) — into a scheme to continue betraying his father. Except this time she says it’s for a good cause. Would Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) see it that way? Doubtful.

General Hospital Spoilers  – Sonny Corinthos Is A man Who Prides Himself On Being Sharp Enough To Smell A Rat.

Historically, no one has ever infiltrated his criminal enterprise without him catching onto it. This time around, things are different, and Carly noticed. Sonny must be slipping if he hasn’t picked up on what Dex Heller (Evan Hofer) was doing.

If Sonny is losing his edge — to which Carly will definitely blame Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) for — it stands to reason that he may need protection from himself after all.

Where is Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) when you need him? Does Carly really think she can mold Michael and Dex into being some sort of Jason, Jr? Apparently so. Carly may not be thinking this plan through very well though.

For instance, has the thought even crossed her mind that Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) may not like her getting mixed up in all of this? How would he feel about her pulling Michael into the dark world of the mob to protect Sonny’s interests? Why is she still so darned protective of her ex-husband anyway?

Of course, Michael is a grown man who makes his own decisions. General Hospital spoilers show Willow Corinthos (Katelyn MacMullen) might remind him of that when he finally tells her what he’s done and she likely disagrees with his decision. There won’t be any blaming this one on mommy where Willow is concerned.

When Carly presented Michael with this plan, he didn’t even have to think about it before jumping on board. That was certainly an interesting about face for him, since just weeks ago he was planning to cripple his father’s business and send the mafia boss away to prison for life. What changed?

GH Spoilers – Leak Dex Heller Jumped On Board Against Joss’ Jacks Wishes

It was much more believable when Dex decided he wanted to be in this. Dex has fallen hard for the mob life, despite Josslyn ‘Joss’ Jacks’ (Eden McCoy) determination not to see it. When she balked at the plan, Dex finally spit out the truth. He wants this. Sonny needs him. And besides, he’s doing it for Joss, right? Did she really buy that?

General Hospital Spoilers — A New Era Of The Port Charles Mob?

The rumor mill is churning, but delicious details hint that this may be the start of a new era in the Port Chuck mafia ring. Is Sonny on his way out? Did his involvement with Nina soften him too much? Maybe he’s not cut out for this anymore.
