GH Spoilers: Anna’s Broken Heart Dovetails With Sonny And Nina’s Impending Doom

General Hospital (GH) spoilers report Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) is nursing a pretty serious broken heart right now. She knows there is no potential for her to share her life with Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) anymore.

He needs to focus on his daughter right now, and Anna needs to pick up the pieces of her shattered life and figure out how to best move on from this tragedy.

She might have unexpected company soon as Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) and Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) hit the bricks over similar issues.

Fans have been wondering for months whether the budding closeness between Anna and Sonny would turn into something more, and this just might be the time to see that come to fruition.

When Valentin first realized it was Charlotte Cassadine (Scarlett Fernandez) who trashed his girlfriend’s hotel suite, he could have been honest with her. They could have brought the situation to a head and learned how to manage Charlotte’s issues together.

Instead, Valentin favored Charlotte’s privacy over Anna’s wellbeing. As a result, Charlotte’s well being suffered, too.

Now, he may risk losing both of them as the love of his life parts ways with him and his mon petit is consumed by Victor Cassadine’s (Charles Shaughnessy) games.

Meanwhile, Nina is biding her time and biting her tongue in hopes that Sonny never finds out the lies she’s told as well.

Not only did she give Valentin the assist he needed by deleting that footage from the Metro Court Hotel security server, but she is responsible for getting Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) thrown in prison — and for trying to do the same to Carly Spencer (Laura Wright).

That’s not going to fly with the mob boss — even if he does have a heart of gold.

As Sonny and Nina drift apart, and Valentin and Anna do the same, Sonny and Anna may find themselves drifting closer together than either of them ever could have imagined.

They were always cordial — friendly even. But the fans have noticed in the last few months that they are sharing more time together — especially in private.

When Anna needed a place to go the night she shot Charlotte, she ended up crashing at Sonny’s place.

Nina wasn’t even looped in on her being there until the morning. We have a sneaking suspicion that Nina won’t be looped in at all the next time Anna stays over at Sonny’s place.
