A lot of people couldn’t help but notice that General Hospital (GH) alum Tyler Christhoper was trending on Twitter this week. That’s because fans have made it no secret that they want to see him back on the canvas, and especially back in Port Charles. Here’s what you need to know.

Of course, many General Hospital fans did take to their Twitter accounts to express their frustration over not seeing Tyler Christopher as Nikolas Cassadine. While Adam Huss is definitely a great actor, many viewers believe that the only person who could do any justice to the character is Tyler and only Tyler.

Dome comments have included, “This new Nicolas is by far my least favorite. Unless GH is looking to end this character forever, I’m really confused. Tyler Christopher will always be my favorite, but Marcus Coloma is way better than this guy!” along with, “Tyler Christopher will always be Nicholas. I think he could redeem the character. Hey @valentinifrank PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE BRING BACK Tyler Christopher !!! He is the ONLY Nikolas!!”

GH News – What’s Next For Tyler Christhoper?

Another fan wrote, “I keep saying it. They write differently for a character depending on who plays it. Nikolas has been written terribly since Tyler Christopher left and he won’t get any better until they get him back. Same happened with Lucky, although I thought GV was a good follow up to JJ. Either way, bring back Tyler!!”

So far Tyler himself has not made any comments about the matter, but he did hint last year that he wasn’t looking to revive his daytime television career. That’s because after he was let go from Days of Our Lives, he was forced to make a lot of lifestyle changes to get him to where he is today. Luckily, those changes have helped him for the better, but there’s also a very good chance that he might have burned his bridges with the soap world before then, too.
