General Hospital spoilers reveal that Willow Tait’s (Katelyn MacMullen) is preparing to undergo the procedure to receive Liesl Obrecht’s (Kathleen Gati) bone marrow transplant. This operation could possibly save Willow’s life, and she needs all hands on deck to support her and her little family as they all go through it together.
Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) has been living in an adrenaline-fueled nightmare with her as her health factors have climbed up and dropped back down. Every bit of good news seems to be followed with disappointment, and they’re holding out hope that this time will be different. They might have their hopes dashed all too soon.
General Hospital Spoilers — Liesl Obrecht’s Part Is A Success
General Hospital spoilers show Liesl has been anxiously awaiting the day she could freely donate her bone marrow without complication. Willow’s life has been hanging in the balance since the doctors verified that Liesl is a perfect match for Willow.
Perhaps Liesl and Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) should have thought of this potential match sooner when Nina turned out not to be one, but they were understandably consumed by grief at the time as they had just lost Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud).
Regardless, they’ve made it to the finish line; Liesl’s medication has been cleared from her system and she can donate to Willow now.
GH Spoilers – Say Now We Wait
When Willow receives Liesl’s transplant, it’s going to leave the entire family up in arms. They’ll be waiting at GH with baited breath hoping it all goes okay while also knowing they have a long road ahead of them afterward hoping that it works. If it doesn’t, another transplant won’t really help and they’ll have to face the reality that Willow will be out of options and living on borrowed time.
General Hospital Spoilers — Willow Tait Won’t Pull Through This
Complications may stem from Willow’s transplant that lead to it being less effective than the doctors at GH had hoped. She did look like the perfect candidate, but these procedures are never perfect themselves. It won’t be anyone’s fault, but it will be a painful end to an exhausting journey through trying to get Willow better. The transplant may buy her more time to be with Michael and her children, but it won’t buy her the kind of life they thought they’d have together. Stay tuned for more solemn GH news and spoilers just ahead.
