This time, Cody wants Scott Baldwin’s (Kin Shriner) help in suing the WSB over a necklace he claims belongs to him. Will he go through with the scheme, knowing that it’s all a lie? What do he and Scott stand to lose if they don’t come out on top of this — especially at a time when Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) is threatening to put the whole WSB at risk with her.

The odds are against them, but Scott is determined to help Cody win. We all know how eager this attorney gets when he feels a jackpot is within reach — and Cody is the same way, though he’s usually betting on a different kind of score.

As a successful lawyer with a lot of time on his hands, Scott sees this as a chance to repay Dominique’s long-lost son for something that was taken from him. Scott has had beef with the WSB for years, but this case is going to have him salivating over the idea of taking them down.

That being said, there’s no way for him to crucify the WSB without taking Robert Scorpio (Tristan Rogers), Holly Sutton (Emma Samms), and a few others down along the way. General Hospital spoilers indicate Selina Wu (Lydia Look) might have something to say about that.

GH Spoilers – Hint Cody Doesn’t Know What He’s Up Against

For Cody, this is nothing more than money. He doesn’t see the harm in getting those funds back and forking half of them over to Scott’s daughter — and his half-sister — Serena Baldwin (Carly Schroeder).

Who knows, by the time the case is over, he might have convinced himself to hand it all over to her — since she’s rightfully his only surviving child. Little does Cody know, all the good in his heart won’t save him and Scott from what comes next.

The WSB is a formidable enterprise to go up against, and Cody might be left feeling like he can never reveal the truth about who his father really is — otherwise, it may look like Scott died while fighting for a scam.

Kin Shriner has already confirmed that GH did not renew his contract. His time is up — again — and this time, he just might be making his final exit in GH’s 60th year. Yes, Scott could die. Whodunnit?

Will it be the WSB who does Scott in as a means of permanently shutting him up and making sure no attorney has the nerve to touch Cody’s case again? Perhaps, but it’s also possible that Scott will die on Selina’s terms.

Someone should have warned him not to mess with Holly’s allies — she keeps them on both sides of the law. Of course, Holly will be further indebted to Selina if she takes Scott out for her, but what’s a little tit-for-tat between not-so-law-abiding friends?
