Prince Louis’ New Plaything Matches His Excitable Energy
We honestly couldn’t get enough of Louis’ antics during the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee, and even on every one of his royal outing so far.
And now he has an electric car to zoom around in whenever he wants to get out of the house. Zooming around the vast grounds is something he is said to enjoy considerably, though he is always supervised.
The ride-on toys, which can cost hundreds of pounds, are generally loved by children in the UK, and is a favorite pastime.
Speaking to The Sun, an insider said, “He can use the paths that are running through Frogmore Gardens like a racetrack and it is completely private. The Queen used to use the area to go riding and take her dogs. Now Andy and Fergie go there with the corgis.”
They added: “It’s quiet and away from the public so ideal for Louis.”
If you’re the sentimental type, you might flash back to the sweet 1952 picture of the late Queen looking on at then 3-year-old Charles in a pedal car at Balmoral Castle.
This July, The Sun on Sunday reported that William, 42, uses an electric scooter to help him get from the family home on the estate to the castle for meetings or to see his father the King (scooters are legal if ridden on private land).
Louis’ older brother George, 10, used to ride a £100 toy tractor around their then-Anmer Hall home, near Sandringham Castle. At the age of four, his father, William, gifted him a very rare miniature Aston Martin V8 Volante, which happens to be one of only 25 British models ever built.
The royal family has a knack for playing with vehicles, because William and Harry once played with fire engines at Sandringham in 1988.
