Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers hint that Justin Kiriakis has had quite the go as of late. He’s not only mourning the loss of his uncle and mentor, Victor Kiriakis (John Aniston), but he recently found out that his son, Alex Kiriakis (Robert Scott Wilson) is not his biological son … but Victor is.
Days of our Lives Spoilers Highlights
With over 35 years of daytime drama experience under his belt, actor Wally Kurth isn’t only offering a stellar performance in the land of Salem, but he’s also currently embroiled in an epic storyline in Port Charles, too.
Whether you are a Days fan, a General Hospital (GH) fan, or a viewer of both soaps, Mr. Kurth is killing it on both daytime dramas.
Days Of Our Lives Spoilers – Even After All These Years, Justin Kiriakis Remains A Staple In Salem
Sometimes it’s hard to believe that Wally entered Days in 1987 and remains such an integral part of storylines.
His current romance with Bonnie Lockhart (Judi Evans) is sweet but also continues the legacy of super couple status that he shared with Adrienne Kiriakis (played by the same actress).
Still, the recent scene between him and Alex, as Justin relayed that he’s not the young man’s father, after all, was highly emotional, which has created a buzz online from fans; many felt Justin’s pain seep through their daytime screens.
Days Spoilers – Wally Kurth Reviving Eddie Maine Has Been An Incredible Watch
Over in the land of GH, Mr. Kurth has been doing an equally incredible job. Wrapped up in the insider trading secret scandal arc, Ned Quartermaine was desperate to clear his name and was about to, until Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) foiled his plan.
An accident near the Metro Court pool caused Ned to suffer from amnesia, and now he believes he’s Eddie Maine, an alter ego of his that resurfaced when Ned lived a double life for some time in the late ’80, as corporate ELQ businessman by day, and rockstar by night.
Sure, the storyline sounds (and is) a bit soapy; however, fans are glued to this storyline for a number of reasons.
Not only is Kurth’s portrayal of Ned believing he’s Eddie bang on, but the love story unfolding between Ned’s wife Olivia Quartermaine (Lisa LoCicero), and Maine is beautiful. It’s like Oliva is genuinely falling in love with all aspects of Ned; his “responsible” and “reckless” side.
Which begs the question … could Wally Kurth enjoy a double nomination this year for both his Days and GH performances? Anything is possible! Comment your thoughts, below.
