Did The Duggars Make Family Sign NDAs?
The Counting On spoilers suggests that the Duggars made their family sign NDAs. There are questions as to how Jill and Derick Dillard were able to appear on Shiny Happy People: Duggar Family Secrets. Some fans feel the kids were obligated to cover for their parents. Keep on reading to learn more.
Counting On Spoilers – Jill Dillard’s Involvement in Shiny Happy People
According to the Counting On spoilers, Jill Dillard seemingly worked her way around the NDA she signed. One fan on Reddit wanted to know how her involvement with Shiny Happy People worked out. However, it’s likely that she was able to sign an NDA (non-disclosure agreement) with the streaming platform.
This prevented her from confiding in her family about the docuseries. Granted that it’s an Amazon production, they had to protect themselves. Other fans wonder if Jill had to sign an NDA when she was a part of the family and appeared on 19 Kids and Counting. Jill has admitted in the docuseries that signed contracts and was forced to support her eldest brother, Josh Duggar.
Counting On Spoilers – Do The Duggars Have NDAs?
In lieu of the rumors, another fan took to Reddit to share a cartoon from the New Yorker. It reads, “Goodbye, sweetheart. No matter where you go in this life, or what you do, always remember that you signed an NDA with us.”
However, some fans argue that signing an NDA wouldn’t make sense outside of a business relationship. There have been whispers that Jim Bob and Michelle could sue Amazon for the docuseries. It would be hard for them to go up against the tech and streaming giant since Amazon has more money.
Counting On Spoilers – Family Signed Financial NDAs
According to the Counting On spoilers, the Duggar family signed financial NDAs. Ahead of the docuseries, another fan speculated whether the family made their kids keep their finances under lock and key. Some fans still have a feeling that Duggars made their kids sign every NDA possible to keep their secrets and scandals under wraps.
Other fans argue that the kids aren’t aware of the family finances. The ones who are profiting off Jim Bob and Michelle probably don’t even question it. Yet, some fans believe the Duggars can’t force NDAs onto their clan. It can be hard to enforce them on just anyone.
