Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers suggest some plot twists are about to shake things up in Salem. Dimitri Von Leuschner (Peter Porte) is working overtime to convince Gwen Rizczech (Emily O’Brien) that he’s not only in love with her, but that she should marry him. This is all a scam to ensure he gets his inheritance, but could he end up catching some feelings for Gweny when all is said and done?

Gwen has been through a lot of heartache over the years. She had a terrible childhood and held a tremendous amount of resentment towards her bio dad Jack Deveraux (Matthew Ashford) and her late sister Abigail Deveraux DiMera (Marci Miller). She finally found love in Xander Kiriakis (Paul Telfer), only to be rejected by him when push came to shove.

Dimitri grew up without a father, much like Gwen. He’s pulled a scheme (or 10) out of his hat over the years, just like Gwen. The two are both known for their less-than-honest actions. While Von Leuschner is pulling a massive act on Gwen right now, if he let his true colors shine, she’d likely be okay with him. The reason she and Xand connected was due to their “outcast” reputations in the little town. If Dimit allowed Gwen to see the “real him” would they hit it off?

Days Spoilers – The Truth Will Come Out

No scheme in Salem ever stays hidden, and Gwen will likely find out what Dimitri is up to. It may be before the wedding or after, but she’ll eventually learn the truth. Between now and then, could Dimitri catch legitimate feelings for Rizczech? His mom’s run in the little town is about to soon come to a close. Megan Hathaway’s (Miranda Wilson) final airdate has been set for Thursday, July 6th. Without mommy dearest in the picture and constantly in his ear, will Dimitri continue scheming on her behalf? Could he realize that he and Gwen have more in common than meets the eye? If Gwen does find out the truth, will she be overly upset or understand his predicament? Or will the truth come out after he falls in love with Rizczech?
