Days of Our Lives spoilers reveal why Talia abandoned a priming career to bake some cakes and cookies. Chanel Dupree (Raven Bowens) is happy to have Talia Hunter (Aketra Sevillian) working with her at Sweet Bits. After Allie Horton (Lindsay Arnold) suddenly left her in the lurch, she needed help in order for her bakery to stay in business.

However, on her first day of work, Talia has to admit that she lied on her resume and doesn’t really have much professional baking experience.

According to Days of Our Lives spoilers, Talia also has to admit she is a doctor who graduated at the top of her class from medical school, but she just doesn’t want to be a doctor anymore.

After her father, Dr. Marcus Hunter (Richard Biggs) died, Talia admits that she just can’t seem to get into medicine. She doesn’t feel it, but baking is what makes her happy so Chanel just decides to go with it.

However, it looks like Talia is still a doctor at heart just like her big sister, Jada Hunter, is a cop at heart. Paulina Price Carver (Jackee Harry) soon comes barreling into the bakery to give Chanel the news that she believes that Sloane Petersen (Jessica Serfaty) ransacked her office.

Apparently, the lawyer is still someone she and her daughter need to be wary of and this all causes Paulina to have a panic attack.

“Being a doctor is always going to be second nature to Talia,” Aketra Sevillian said in the April 7, 2023, issue of Soap Opera Digest. “She goes to Paulina’s rescue, she clams Chanel down. She calms the situation down and takes control of it. Talia is like ‘I’m a doctor, you’re in good hands.’ She makes Paulina realize that it’s just a panic attack. She’s not going to die. She’s going to be ok.”

At least Dr. Talia Hunter is there to work her through it, confirm it’s not a heart attack, and calm her down. Of course, when Paulina is finally calm, she has a ton of questions.
