Gwen Rizcech (Emily O’Brien) is still pining over Xander Cook (Paul Telfer) because she can never seem to face the fact that he will always love Sarah Horton (Linsey Godfrey). Every time she thinks Xander might return to her, he breaks her heart and it’s all about Sarah all over again.

Alex Kiriakis (Robert Scott Wilson) is having his own share of trouble with Sarah’s mother, Maggie Horton Kiriakis (Suzanne Rogers). He is upset enough he has to share the Titan CEO position with her but now she is even bossing him around at work and that just will not do.

When Gwen and Alex drown their sorrows with a few drinks on Monday, they do it together and tell each other their little tales of woe. Considering that they are drunk, will one thing lead to another? After all, Alex is now Salem’s king of one-night stands so why not have one with Gwen? Will it then become more than a one-night stand?
