B&B Spoilers: Was Liam’s Comment Cryptic? – Taylor’s Guilt Revisited

The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers document that Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton) recently offered a comment that felt cryptic. He referenced seeing images in his mind where Bill Spencer (Don Diamont) was shot.

Hardcore viewers recall that Liam had apparent flashbacks where he saw himself shooting his father in the back. That seemed plausible at the time because Bill brutally betrayed his son.

Eventually, the storyline reveal had Taylor Hayes (then played by Hunter Tylo) as the shooter. Taylor entered the mansion she sold to Bill before leaving town, aimed a gun, and hit him square in the back.

Taylor’s motivation was believable as well. Her defense, like Liam’s, involved a reprisal for what Bill did with Steffy Forrester Finnegan (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood).

Shame is a controversial topic for some. Steffy felt it, along with shock, after waking up aside from Bill in the Forrester mansion guest house.

She and Bill cavorted. For her it was an impulse based on all that was happening. For Bill, it was what he perceived as destiny.

Steffy was mortified and later had to seek a paternity test to determine of the child (Kelly Spencer, Sophia Paras Mckinlay) she was having was Bill’s or Liam’s. The results confirmed Liam as the father.

Wood’s character was forced to admit to Liam having a paternity test conducted in a most memorable outdoor scene in the backyard of the cliff house. Within the last handful of weeks, Bill and Sheila Carter’s (Kimberlin Brown) blackmail threat forced Steffy to tell her husband, John Finn Finnegan (Tanner Novlan), about that night with Bill.

B&B Spoilers – Why Did Liam Spencer Remind Everyone?

All dialogue furthers a storyline to a certain extent. So, Liam may have simply been reflecting upon how his mind played tricks on him when talking about the past.

Liam believes his brain projected anger he felt toward his father, due to the betrayal with Steffy, as inserting himself in the shooter’s position on that dark and stormy night.

Soap fans know that anything is possible in daytime. So, it could be that Liam did shoot Bill and Taylor imagined herself pulling the trigger.

The Bold And The Beautiful Spoilers – What If Taylor Hayes Is Innocent?

Bill and Sheila’s leverage would not be gone if Liam proves to be the shooter. They could still assert blackmail privileges by threatening to report Clifton’s character to the authorities. Steffy would not want that to happen because the father of her daughter, Liam, would face jail time.

However, Bill tearfully told Katie Logan (Heather Tom) that he would always protect his kids. So, having Liam revealed as his shooter could be the spark that breaks the spell Sheila has will Bill. Although, someone other than Liam or Taylor could always prove to be the real shooter on B&B.
