B&B spoilers reveal that Hope claims to be in love with Liam. However, Hope is attracted to Thomas and keeps fantasizing about him. Hope never had any intention of betraying Liam in Rome. So, after kissing Thomas, it leaves Hope wondering what she’s done. Speaking to Soap Opera Digest magazine, actress Noelle Hope explained,

“But these feelings for Thomas [sent] her in a tailspin because it is not so black and white. It is confusing. It is wrong, yet she can’t stop herself from feeling this way and it ended up boiling over… For a rare moment, she was out of her head… She was not thinking of anyone or anything or the consequences that might follow… it was wrong and she shouldn’t feel this way, and yet her heart is divided.”

During the week of June 26, Liam tells Wyatt Spencer (Darin Brooks) about what he saw in Rome. Now, Liam, Wyatt and Steffy Forrester Finnegan (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) know about the “Thope” kiss. However, Hope and Thomas are still unaware that they were seen.

Liam decides to test Hope. It appears that she fails because later in the week, Hope begs Liam for forgiveness.

Even though Hope and Steffy both betrayed their partners, it seems that Soap Opera Digest was referencing “Lope.” After all, the secrets in Rome don’t start pouring out until the week of July 3.

Since Liam and Hope’s implosion happens before then, perhaps Steffy’s marriage to John “Finn” Finnegan (Tanner Novlan) is affected next.
