B&B Spoilers: Douglas’ Choice – Will He Turn His Back On Hope?

The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers show that while there has been a lot of drama going on, we may have forgotten about the custody battle between Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson) and Hope Logan (Annika Noelle).

Thomas believes he is ready to be a full-time father and have Douglas back in his home. However, this is the same man that faked a CPS call about his own child recently, not to mention all of the other mental issues that he has dealt with in the last few years.

He is not going to let this fight go so easily, however. Thomas is convinced that he can actually get custody of Douglas and it’s honestly a bit mindblowing that he thinks this. I know there are fans out there that say Douglas belongs with his father, but really, objectively, can you seriously say that?

The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers say Thomas is a crazy lunatic. It’s not mean, it’s just true. A child does not belong in that house full-time because he didn’t have a mental breakdown for a few months, Thomas is too far gone and it is in the best interest for Douglas to stay with Hope.

B&B Spoilers – What Will Douglas Forrester Say?

However, no matter what we think, Douglas will ultimately have some say in this decision. I’m sure he will be asked by judges and social workers, and there might be a chance that he would turn his back on Hope.

Sure, he loves Hope, but he also loves his father and probably doesn’t know or understand everything that Thomas has done over the last few years, so why wouldn’t he defend his dad? Other than the CPS call, I’m not sure Douglas has much reason to not want to be around his dad.

It would certainly be a huge shock if Douglas turned his back on Hope and wanted to go live with his dad full-time, but not out of the range of possibilities. Of course, if that actually happened, CPS would probably be called on Thomas for real. There is something bound to happen in that house.
