The major age gap between US native, Debbie and Moroccan native, Oussama, is one of the most significant in 90 Day Fiancé history. Add the varying cultures into the mix, and fans truly wonder if there is any hope for the unusual couple.

For one thing, fans already know that Debbie’s son is dead against his mom’s relationship with the young Moroccan man. In fact, when she told Julian of her plans to marry the 24-year-old, he couldn’t help but be concerned.

In fact, in a recent episode, Debbie admitted Julian was having trouble accepting her relationship. She said: “Ever since I told Julian I was moving to Morocco to marry Oussama, he’s been pretty hateful about it.”  Debbie continued, saying:

He thinks I’m going to get used and abused, and he thinks I’m gonna [sic] be, like, lost in the Sahara Desert or something.

Meanwhile, Julian didn’t only express his concern to his mother. It turns out that when he accompanied Debbie to her lawyer, Gina, to discuss a prenuptial agreement, Julian told her:

Obviously, this guy is very manipulating; he’s already manipulated my mom to move over there. What’s to say he doesn’t manipulate to transfer money later on? How is that protected?

Teaser for Sunday’s episode points to problems

In a teaser for Sunday’s episode of 90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way, Oussama tells Debbie to leave Morocco. Obviously, this is a shock to her, after packing up her life and flying to Morocco to be with her new love.

According to Distractify, in the clip, Debbie asks him, “You want me to go back to the United States?” to which he responded: “Ah, yep.”

Debbie is quick to respond, accusing Oussama of lying to her, saying, “Shame on you.”

Whether she will leave Morocco is unknown at present. However, in a recent interview with ET she opened up about their relationship. However, despite the Moroccan native’s initial excitement to get married, he did tell her he wants to slow things down. This caused Debbie to re-evaluate their relationship.

Debbie and Oussama’s relationship is definitely complicated. In the clip included below, she said she would have no hard feelings if he wanted to part ways. She said she certainly wouldn’t try to force him into something he doesn’t want.

Watch the next episode of 90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way on Sunday at 8 pm ET on TLC.
