As parents of teenagers know so well, from around the age of 14, hormones go crazy and they can be impossible. However, Annie wants to give her brother Jordan a good life in America.

In a teaser clip for Monday night’s episode of David & Annie: After the 90 Days, David and Annie get into a tense conversation about Jordan’s life-changing decision. Annie explained why Jordan doesn’t want to listen to them, saying:

In Thai culture, it’s not really common to share your feelings, especially with the guy stuff. So, I think that might make him feel uncomfortable because, you know, he is a man and [I am] the girl.

While Annie tries to talk to Jordan, he is hesitant to tell her how he is really feeling. In fact, he lashes out at her when she tries to get him to open up about his emotions. In fact, Jordan responds to her, saying, “You’re not a man. You can’t understand.”

Meanwhile, Jordan made it clear that he is confused about whether to relocate to the US, or stay at home in Thailand, asking:

How can I not be confused with everything you’ve put in my head?

Jordan opens up in a confessional

However, Jordan did open up a bit in a confessional, saying:

I think if Annie listened to me more, I think she’d probably realize what she thinks is helping me is actually just putting pressure on me.

Meanwhile, as Annie translates the conversation for David, he quickly speaks up, saying:

We don’t want to force him. It’s out of love for him. If he just trusts us for a little bit – because this opportunity, 99.9 percent of people will never get.

Moreover, Annie has tears in her eyes, thinking of a future in America without her young brother, saying, “I understand you’re just 15. You have to make a decision, which is a big deal. But we love you so much I don’t want to leave you behind.”

Problems with visas before

This latest conversation with Jordan isn’t by any means the first. In fact, Annie and David actually tried to begin the visa process several years ago. However, they hit problems during a February 2022 episode, where Jordan and Annie’s cousin, Amber, were denied US visas.
