In Sunday’s episode, Tyray revealed some shocking details about his four-year relationship with Carmella of Barbados. However, even when TLC producers told him that his girlfriend Carmella was actually a man named Christian, Tyray refused to believe them and refused to listen to any phone recordings.

Ironically, Tyray admitted that he used to watch Catfish, but didn’t believe this would ever happen to him. In fact, he said it couldn’t be true because he wasn’t sending thousands of dollars, but only $50 to $100 per month. He even didn’t react to the fact that Carmella only talked to him on Snapchat and would never video call him.

Tyray’s siblings shocked over Carmella

Meanwhile, Tyray’s siblings knew nothing about his international relationship. However, last year he told them he had traveled to Barbados to meet Carmella, but that she ghosted him on arrival, later giving him an excuse relating to COVID. Even this didn’t raise a red flag with the TLC reality star and he continued to chat with her like nothing had happened.

Moreover, after he did learn he was being catfished, Tyray refused to believe it, as he felt he had a true connection with the person he was chatting with.

Tyray and Carmella had been chatting on Snapchat for three years before he decided to travel to Barbados. However, after flying 4,000 miles and staying in COVID isolation for three days, Carmella didn’t even contact him once. As Tyray didn’t want to push her away, he didn’t confront her over this. Meanwhile, it must be remembered that he never pressured her to video call him.

When producers wanted to play an audio call with Carmella, who turned out to be a man named Christian. He just kept making excuses, like possibly someone had stolen her phone or hacked her.

Meanwhile, Tyray’s siblings were supportive of their bigger brother and slammed Christian for taking advantage of him. They deemed Christian a “sick” person for what he did to their brother. Moreover, his sister will be helping him to discover the real identity of the alleged Carmella, an escort.
