Y&R Spoilers: Phyllis’ Plan Is Dangerous – Diane Survives?

The Young and the Restless spoilers document that Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) believes she is making progress. Her hire at Marchetti furthers a plan she recently devised.

But Phyllis’ goal of sabotaging Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters) is dangerous. Phyllis and her co-conspirators, Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) and Ashley Abbott (Eileen Davidson), appear to be underestimating Diane. Walters’ character successfully faked her murder years ago, is suffering no legal consequences for doing so, and is reintegrating herself back into the Abbott family.

Diane’s accomplishments are laudable, even among those who only give her grudging kudos. So, Phyllis’ hope of forcing Diane out of town appears overly optimistic.

The Young And The Restless Spoilers – Nikki Newman Is Not Carrying A Heavy Load So Far

Nikki was arrested and tried for murdering Diane, who was not dead. So, it is not a surprise that Thomas Scott’s character would want revenge.

Phyllis is okay with Nikki purely serving in a background role to date. Other than strategy sessions, Nikki has not done anything.

However, Nikki, like Phyllis, allows herself to be provoked by Diane. So, it is possible that Nikki will feel compelled to do more or may be forced to if Phyllis needs backup.

Y&R Spoilers – Phyllis Summers Risks Bond

Phyllis is close with her daughter, Summer Newman Abbott (Allison Lanier) on the Young and the Restless. Phyllis likes her son-in-law, Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor).

But Stafford’s character can not stand Kyle’s mother, which he and his wife know. So, the direct talk Summer had with Phyllis and Diane, about both ladies being on their best behavior and knowing they will need to collaborate, was important.

Phyllis recently said that Summer will not be involved in the plot against Diane. As Summer’s grandmother, Nikki is uncertain that conjecture will play out as Phyllis hopes.

The Young And The Restless Spoilers – Diane Jenkins Is A Survivor

Diane can not be tagged as a steady winner because she has sabotaged her life on more than one occasion and badly damaged personal ties. The break from Kyle crushed the then-young man.

Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) told Phyllis that he still loves her, despite her recent betrayal. But he does not trust her. Yet, Jack admitted that he can never trust Diane, which gave Phyllis some solace.

Diane’s survival instincts may allow her to sense Phyllis’ incoming before the attack is fully launched. But even if Diane is blindsided fans know that she is a survivor, and that Phyllis could lose this risky game on Y&R.
