Y&R Spoilers: Elena Tries To Fix Devon And Nate’s Relationship

The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers tease that Elena Dawson (Brytni Sarpy) tries to mend the relationship between Devon Hamilton (Bryton James) and Nate Hastings, Jr (Sean Dominic). It will be a tough sell as Devon doesn’t seem interested in patching things up with his cousin.

Nate and Devon’s issues didn’t begin with Nate’s betrayal of Chancellor-Winters. Before Devon entered a relationship with Amanda Sinclair (Mishael Morgan), he was in a hot and heavy romance with Elena.

Devon discovered Elena cheated with Nate. They had an explosive fight that ended Nate’s career as a surgeon. He fractured his hand to the point that he couldn’t operate anymore. Ever since then, Devon hasn’t trusted his cousin. The Chancellor-Winters betrayal was just another reason Devon could not trust Nate.

Y&R Spoilers– Can Elena Dawson Fix Their Relationship?

Elena hopes to mend Devon and Nate’s relationship. They were pretty close before she cheated on Devon with Nate. After all, their relationship never went back to the way it was. However, Elena is hopeful that if she can get them to sit down and hash out their differences, she could get them to find common ground.

It seems like an impossible task. Y&R spoilers reveal that Devon told Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) that he doesn’t trust Nate. He sees him as an opportunist. Devon doesn’t care if he’s sorry for his actions; he will never trust him after the CW betrayal.

It seems hopeless to want to mend their relationship. Devon isn’t willing to compromise. He sees his cousin as a schemer, and nothing will change his mind. On the other hand, Nate was willing to compromise and own up to his mistakes. However, he has deep-rooted anger toward Devon after his hand injury.

If, and that’s a big if, Elena can get the men to agree to get along, it won’t be a genuine friendship anymore. They may decide to be nice to each other for the family’s sake.

Lily admitted that she hated what Nate did to CW, but he was family. She thinks they should forgive him because that’s what their dad, Neil Winters (Kristoff St. John), would want.

Only time will tell if Devon will forgive Nate. Until he does, the Winters family won’t feel whole.
