Y&R Spoilers: Chance’s Major Ashland Locke Dilemma

The Young And The Restless: Chance Chancellor (Connor Floyd) The Young and the Restless spoilers reveal the Newmans in more trouble than they may have thought — thanks to Ashland Locke, who seems to haunt them and the show even in death.

The Young And The Restless Spoilers – Bad Coverup

As Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) said the night that Ashland Locke (Robert Newman) died, nothing good has ever happened for their family when they inadvertently do something bad and then lie to the police about it. He insisted Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) call the police right away when Ashland seemed dead on her fireplace ledge, but she thought calling brother-in-law Chance Chancellor (Connor Floyd) would help them better.

For some dumb reason, they went outside for air and were surprisingly shocked that Ashland was gone when they walked back into the house. Don’t they know they are on a soap opera and these things happen?

They were all ready to tell Chance the truth and they actually did that not knowing that their father decided to interfere when they weren’t watching.

Y&R Spoilers – Chance Chancellor Has A Bad Feeling

Finding Ashland dead in his car seems awfully convenient to Chance and nothing about that night or the crime scenes — the one in Victoria’s house and the one in the car — make any sense to Chance, so he goes digging. When he questions Nick and Victoria, they seem more on edge than ever so he knows they have to be hiding something, but what?

Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) doesn’t make things any easier for her family when she visits Abby Newman Chancellor (Melissa Ordway) and suggests that maybe Chance can ease up on his investigation — for the family’s sake, of course. Abby doesn’t take kindly to this and tells Chance about the encounter.

This leads him to believe The Great Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) is somehow involved with this murder/coverup because why wouldn’t he be? This is Genoa City, after all.

Now, Chance needs to decide whether he is going to just leave this alone for Abby’s sake or investigate his wife’s father. Since Chance is dedicated to law enforcement, this might not be a hard decision to make, but it will be hard on Abby and her family. Stay tuned to The Young and the Restless weekdays to see how this story plays out.
