Y&R spoilers reveal that Michael is able to get proof that Ashland lied about his cancer. A man that used to work for Ashland tells Michael that he can give him all the information he needs. However, he wants money, which Victor is more than willing to pay.

After the payout, Michael takes a video recording of the former employee telling the story of Ashland’s scam. Ashland paid a ton of cash to have his medical records falsified. Victor thinks he finally has Ashland right where he wants him.

Victor wants to expose Ashland’s deceit but is also aware that doing so could humiliate and hurt Victoria. Victor decides to tread carefully and try to come up with a way to minimize the hurt that Victoria will endure. Victor’s idea is to confront Ashland and demand he tells Victoria the truth himself. Then, Victor orders Ashland to get a quick divorce and quietly leave town.

The Young and the Restless spoilers reveal that Ashland is going to strike back. According to Soap Opera Digest, Heinle explained what Ashland does when he is backed into a corner.

“But Ashland will play with fire and take one more shot at maintaining Victoria’s trust, leading to a confrontation that may fracture Victor and Victoria’s relationship forever.”

It is possible that Ashland will tell Victoria that the Peruvian source isn’t employed at the clinic anymore for a reason. Perhaps Ashland will say that the insider wants revenge for being fired and would say anything… especially if Victor paid him. Ashland might also claim that Victor hired the man to slander him.
