Y&R Comings And Goings: The Talk Host In, Fan Favorite Over And Out

The Young And The RestlessThe Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers for the week of August 1, 2022 tease that a bad guy is finally gone and a chat celeb is coming on board the CBS sudser. Here’s what you need to know for the week ahead Y&R fans.

The Young And The Restless Spoilers -The week Of August 1, 2022 Brings News Of A Famous Face

The Talk host Natalie Morales now has a recurring role on the CBS sudser. The lovely and talented woman will play Talia Morgan who is an investigative reporter.

The character is hired by Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) and Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) who are all kinds of peeved that Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters) is walking free on this earth.

Not to mention that she is back from the dead to walk free on the earth. Nothing is steaming these two ladies more right now than the mere sight of Diane enjoying her life.

Y&R Spoilers – The Week Of August 1, 2022 Brings News Of A Recurring Role

Of course this does not bode well for Diane. Nikki is mad because she thought she killed the evil minx years ago. What an insult to see Diane flaunting her aliveness in her face!

Phyllis is bent out of shape because Diane is her daughter Summer Newman Abbott’s (Allison Lanier) MIL and Jack Abbott’s (Peter Bergman) baby mama to Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor), Summer’s husband. Red sees red because Summer is getting on board with Diane and she is also displeased that she could have competition for Jack’s eye.

The Young And The Restless Spoilers – The Week Of August 1, 2022 Sees A Bad Guy Go

Ashland Locke (Robert Newman) is off the canvas. Newman took over the role from Richard Burgi in February and slayed it as the mean guy who lied about having cancer–smote him!

Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) tussled with the cad and he fell, leaving Nick and his sister and Ashland’s ex, Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) to think he was dead. Alas, when the corpse disappeared, they thought he was alive. Alas, when the body turned up in a crashed car, he again appeared dead. So much soapy shenanigans.

Suffice it to say that Newman tweeted a video confirming his departure from the CBS soap. This means exactly nothing in soapland, but hey who are we to rock the boat?
