Adam reached out to Victor to ask if he could come to the ranch for the holidays. When Victor agreed, he asked if he could bring his ex-wife, Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan), along with him and Connor Newman (Judah Mackey).

At first, Victor wasn’t sure that was a good idea but eventually agreed. Y&R spoilers state that Victor updated Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) on Adam after Adam left. He told her that Chelsea would join them for Christmas. Victor prepared for Nikki’s opposition, but she was supportive. She told Victor she’s heard Chelsea was in a dark place and thought time with their family might do her some good.

With Nikki considering stepping down as Newman Enterprises co-CEO, Victor considers whom he would want to take her spot. Of course, Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) would make that shortlist. However, he might keep Nick as the COO and name Adam the one to run NE alongside Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle).

If Victor named Adam the new co-CEO, Victoria could snap. She’s struggling with Chelsea Lawson’s (Melissa Claire Egan) new role in her son’s life, Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) supports Chelsea and Johnny Abbott’s (Paxton Mishkind) newfound relationship, and now Victor wants to put Adam (of all people) next to her to run NE.
It’s a recipe for disaster. Victoria won’t like it and will let her dad know about it. It will create tension, with the family taking different sides.

It could stir up storylines and drama if Victor appoints Adam as co-CEO. One thing is sure, and the fans love to see Victoria get all worked up.
