B&B Spoilers: Ridge’s Path Back To Brooke Includes Taylor’s New Love?

Eric Forrester (John McCook) is teased to talk with his adopted son about what happened when Ridge returned to Los Angeles, California, on the Forrester Creations jet. Ridge’s assumption, that he would be breaking news to the two women he loved, was short-circuited by Brooke and Taylor’s unexpected meeting of the minds.

There was nothing to do after Brooke and Taylor told Ridge their decision. Kaye’s character was speechless, and the fans wondered what would come next.

Ridge was not anticipating Brooke or Taylor telling him no. Whether his pick was going to be Lang or Allen’s character, Ridge assumed either lady would say yes.

Ridge did not recognize the emotional damage his actions created this year. The ladies go too far in stating that the triangle has been dysfunctional for years because this combined arc has been disjointed, with each of the three points enjoying periods of bliss.

Viewers recognize the continuity problems if Taylor or Brooke claim they would have been better off without Ridge. They, like Ridge, are caught up in the soapy moment and need time and space to think clearly.

Taylor would benefit by finding someone who only sees her in his life. Yes, the psychiatry practice is great career-wise. But life can not be based on one’s work, whatever it is.

No one questions Taylor’s commitment to her children and grandchildren. Fans also do not doubt Taylor’s personal resilience without Ridge as her husband on B&B.
