Many Sister Wives fans followed Audrey Kriss as her journey took her transgender transition through many phases. Imagine the freedom of finally being yourself after years of being someone you are not. Trapped in a physical body, it must be a glorious thing to become the gender that you identify with. So, it was all smiles from Leon Brown’s (aka Mariah) fiance when they celebrated the anniversary of top surgery this week.

Nobody knew why Audrey went quiet for a long time. However, when they returned to Instagram a photo revealed top surgery. One photo showed them in a car prior to the surgery. Meanwhile, the other photos revealed a very hunky and attractive person with no boobs and a neat mustache. Actually, it amazed TLC fans because a lot of other people would love to find the courage to do the same thing.

Sister Wives fans know that these days, Audren Kriss and Leon Brown both describe themselves as trans. Recently, they relocated to Denver, Colorado. Previously, they did a trip there and they really liked the LGBTQ+ community in the area. These days they look extremely happy together. Actually, some TLC fans probably wish “if only” for themselves. Well, as Audrey said on her top surgery anniversary, there are people around to help with it.

The sheer joy of Leon’s fiance really shined when two photos arrived on Instagram on August 31. Swimming topless in a pool looked like a fun way to celebrate. The caption said “One year since I had top surgery. ?? Not a day goes by that I don’t feel grateful to have had it.”

Next, the caption reminded folks that “Trans healthcare saves lives and improves quality of life! So grateful for @uofutranshealth and the support from the people around me before, during and after! ♥️ so so incredibly grateful and happy.”

Sister Wives fans who saw that happy face took to the comments section in droves. Actually, they become increasingly popular as role models for the LGBTQ+ community. Additionally, they bridge the gap between trans and straight people. If only, they wonder, TLC would feature them a lot more on the show.
