Meghan Markle Copies Kate Middleton’s Look

Talk about twinning with the Duchess of Cambridge. It’s a dream most of us have, and it’s a dream Meghan Markle recently lived. To round up her and Harry’s big day appearing at an unofficial UN function, Meghan stepped out in a $4800 monochrome jumpsuit that paid striking homage to the Duchess of Cambridge’s off the shoulder bardot gown.

Meghan Markle Copies Kate Middleton’s Style For An Evening Out with Hubby Prince Harry

Talk about having a sister-in-style. For an evening dinner with Harry and friends, Meghan stunned in a bold black and white Gabriela Hearst fitted strapless jumpsuit, which she paired with black stilettos and a red bag.

Kate’s, on the other hand, is a Roland Mouret’s monochrome “Lamble” gown said to have been sculpted from stretch-crepe. A dart around the hips and waist gave the outfit its stunning hourglass shape. Even though the gown originally had a sheer mesh at the back, Kate opted to close it up to make it more modest.

The Duchess of Cambridge’s gown, which she wore in May for the premiere of “Top Gun: Maverick”, alongside A-list Hollywood actor Tom Cruise, cost £2,700.

After delivering a politically charged speech on the Nelson Mendela Day at the United Nations’ Headquarters, Harry and wife Meghan dined with friends at well-known chef Andrew Carmellini’s Tribeca hotspot, Locanda Verde.

The Royal Jumpsuit

Immediately Meghan stepped out in the monochrome jumpsuit, royal fans were saying the same thing: it looked a lot like Kate’s.

However, while the two outfits did look alike, Meghan’s own had a twist by not wrapping around her arms like Kate’s did.

Predictably, while royal fans mocked her for copying Kate, a few Sussex fans refused to see the resemblance.
