General Hospital Spoilers – James Patrick Stuart Explains Valentin Vanishing

It’s been very obvious to GH fans that Valentin was not around much the beginning of the year after having a great end of last year and that’s because James Patrick Stuart was busy working on a new sitcom for Disney. But it’s a good thing that Disney also owns General Hospital, so they were able to work things out.

“I was in a nice little groove on the show. I was really enjoying it,” Stuart told Soap Opera Digest in their April 26 issue. “Finola was really enjoying it and then all of the sudden, I get backed up into this opportunity that I couldn’t pass up.”

So, he talked to Executive Producer Frank Valentini and he told him they would make it work. It’s also a good thing that both shows tape right by each other. “I’m having fun on both projects. It’s nine minutes door-to-door from studio to studio. It’s just a lot of hours, a lot of 14-hour days.”

Stuart also said the two shows have been coordinating with one another to make sure he can do both projects. When Anna finally meets up with Valentin next week, it will definitely be worth the wait and effort that Stuart put into both roles to give fans exactly what they want.

GH Spoilers  – But Where’s Charlotte Cassadine?

While Valentin has been down and out and also on a caper he didn’t include Anna in at first, many fans have been wondering where Valentin’s young daughter, Charlotte, is. She was clearly not staying with Grandma Laura Collins (Genie Francis) but she had to be somewhere.

Well, it turns out that Valentin sent his little princess to boarding school. And we all know what that means. A SORAS’d Charlotte might be on her way. Maybe this is a good time to wake up Lulu Falconeri so she can deal with having a teenage daughter. Perhaps she can be paired with Jake Webber (Hudson West) as he has definitely had his own growth spurt. Stay tuned to General Hospital weekdays to see how this story turns out.
