GH Spoilers Friday, December 23: Tough Cases, Surprise Visits, Unexpected Situations

General Hospital spoilers and updates for Friday, December 23 tease tough cases, surprise visits, and unexpected situations in Port Charles. Port Charles Police Commissioner Jordan Ashford (Tanisha Harper) discusses a tough case, Ellie Trout (Emily Wilson) pays a surprise visit and Cody Bell (Josh Kelly) advises of an unexpected situation.

General Hospital Spoilers – A Tough Case

Jordan and Mayor Laura Collins (Genie Francis) confer on a tough case, likely the murder of Officer Rory Cabrera (Michael Blake Kruse) and the Hook serial killings. Laura tries some encouragement, saying it’s tough but not impossible; obviously, she must know that the earring found in Rory’s pocket turned out to be Gloria Wilson’s (Julia Ambrose). That was Ryan Chamberlain’s (Jon Lindstrom) wife he murdered in front of Felicia Scorpio (Kristina Wagner) down in Texas years ago.

But Ryan is locked up in Spring Ridge, diagnosed by Laura’s husband Dr. Kevin Collins (Jon Lindstrom) with locked-in syndrome. They don’t know he’s been faking this whole time, but they likely cannot place him at the scene of the crime; Diane Miller (Carolyn Hennesy) had identified her assailant as female.

GH Spoilers – Surprise Visit

It looks like Ellie is in Port Charles for a visit, or possibly even moving back since it looks like GH by the elevators in the background. She’s catching up with her ex Damian Spinelli (Bradford Anderson) and she asks him to confirm if he’s falling in love with Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) again. That is a distinct possibility since Ellie dumped him in Portland where they’d been happy for years. That’s why Spinelli moved back to Port Charles, Ellie had broken his heart!

General Hospital Spoilers – Hoping For Good News

Back in Maxie’s apartment, she’s on the phone as Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) and Liesl Obrecht (Kathleen Gati) look on. She tells the person on the phone she hopes they have good news for her, quite possibly trying to plan Britt Westbourne’s (Kelly Thiebaud) big birthday bash on the Haunted Star. Whatever the outcome, Maxie will pull it together somehow for Britt’s first – and likely last – ever birthday party.

Maxie is an expert at planning events, and she’ll figure something out even if there could be a last minute change. But it looks like she’ll be able to pull it off based on next week’s GH spoilers.

GH Spoilers – Sad Situation

It’s just a sad situation all the way around with Britt and her Huntington’s Disease being far more advanced than she’d expected. She’s getting her bucket list together and tying up loose ends before she deteriorates to the point that she can’t. She’s also saying all her goodbyes at the party Maxie’s trying to get together for her on rather short notice. She is resigned as she says to herself she never thought she’d be spending her last Christmas in Port Charles.

General Hospital Spoilers – Sonny Corinthos Helps Sasha Gilmore

Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) helps Sasha Gilmore (Sofia Mattsson) with an important task. He assures Sasha that they can get this done by dinnertime, as he eagerly pitches in. It’s been a year since her baby Liam Mike Corbin (uncast infant) passed away, it’s possible he’s helping her set up a remembrance party in his honor.

So many things have changed in a year, now not only Liam but his father Brando Corbin (Johnny Wactor) are gone. Sonny will do his best to make sure Sasha and Gladys Corbin (Bonnie Burroughs) have a Merry Christmas.

GH Spoilers – Unexpected Situation

Olivia Quartermaine (Lisa LoCicero) and Cody both look concerned as Cody is at the front door of the Quartermaine mansion. Cody tells Olivia they have a bit of a situation, and from the look on his face, it appears to be serious. Just about anything can happen around the Quartermaine mansion, although Cody seems to have come straight from the stables. It could be anything from Comet running out of food to another victim of the Hook on the grounds, after all it was at the boathouse when the Hook first attacked.
