GH Spoilers Friday, August 26: Austin’s Warning, Terry’s Attraction, Spencer’s Shock  

General Hospital (GH) spoilers and updates for Friday, August 26 tease Austin Gatlin-Holt (Roger Howarth) gives a warning, and Terry Randolph (Cassandra James) has a new attraction. Also, Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Chavez) has a shock when he learns the truth.

General Hospital Spoilers – Austin Gatlin-Holt’s Warning

Austin’s cousin Mason (Nathanyael Grey) has shown up where Austin warned him not to come, at the Quartermaine charity picnic. Mason makes threats to Austin, presumably concerning Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) and her family since Austin grabs him by the head and tells him to leave her out of it. Austin has come to Port Charles warning that “the family” wants him back in the fold at Pautauk, New York.

This “family” is starting to sound less like a family and more like a cult, because Mason is obviously not from Jimmy Lee Holt’s (Steve Bond) side of the family. The question is, is Mason really there for Austin or is he there for Maxie and her family?

GH Spoilers – Anna Devane Convinces Lucy Coe

Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) convinces Lucy Coe (Lynn Herring) to work Victor Cassadine (Charles Shaughnessy) for intel. She tells her she has all the nefarious assets necessary to get the Cassadine patriarch to spill all the tea. Anna had previously tried to get Lucy to work Martin Grey (Michael E. Knight) for secrets he might know about Valentin Cassadine’s (James Patrick Stuart) involvement with his father. She also wanted to where he really was when he said he was in rehab. Lucy balked because Martin balked, so now Anna wants her to work on Victor directly.

General Hospital Spoilers – Terry Randolph’s New Attraction

At the picnic, Terry Randolph (Cassandra James) met someone for the first time, and there seemed to be a new attraction, and it’s mutual. Whether she and Yuri (Cyrus Hobbi) came by their mutual attraction naturally or if they were the two to drink the two glasses of Sicilian Thunderbolt remains to be seen. Yuri was Brook Lynn Quartermaine’s (Amanda Setton) bodyguard until the truth came out Bailey Louise Jones (most recently London and Jett Prinzo-Berendt) wasn’t really Brook Lynn’s.

Yuri was most recently dating Monica Quartermaine (Leslie Charleson) and now he and Terry talk at the Metro Court Pool. She tells them it looks like they have something in common.

GH Spoilers – Ava Cassadine Caught Off Guard

Ava Cassadine (Maura West) and Nikolas Cassadine (Marcus Coloma) were both caught off guard when Spencer walked in on their argument about Nikolas sleeping with Esmé Prince (Avery Kristen Pohl). With Spencer still in the room at the Quartermaine mansion, they continue to bicker as Nikolas tells Ava that the truth hurts, doesn’t it. Nikolas may be trying to cover for what Spencer obviously heard as he walked in, but there isn’t a lot of secret to hide now. Ava too is shocked at seeing Spencer enter the room at exactly the wrong moment.

General Hospital Spoilers – Victor Cassadine Needs Help

Meanwhile, Victor is elsewhere talking to Valentin, and telling him he needs his help. Valentin has grown tired of helping his father, but maybe this help is something to do with family matters. Victor says he has to get someone in line and he needs Valentin’s help.

This could be about Nikolas and Ava, as Victor had just left a conversation with them telling them they had to stay together. If Esmé’s body is found or she turns up alive, they both could be suspects for her murder or her attempted murder and they can’t testify against each other married.

GH Spoilers – Spencer Cassadine’s Shock

Spencer learns the truth about Esmé, it appears, as he is in shock and asks what Nikolas and Ava are talking about. But which truth he learns remains to be seen; whether it’s the truth about his father having slept with his former girlfriend, or that Esmé is presumed dead. It looked like he heard Ava hissing at Nikolas about having slept with Esmé as he walked in on them. Now he asks, still with a shocked look on his face, what they are talking about.

General Hospital Spoilers – Elizabeth Baldwin Has Another Flashback

Elizabeth Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst) and Hamilton Finn (Michael Easton) were getting ready to get busy in the boathouse on the Quartermaine property after a romantic kiss. Finn left to find a blanket when his cell phone rang, and it was Elizabeth’s sister Dr. Sarah Webber (most recently Sarah Laine) calling him back. Elizabeth didn’t look too pleased when she picked up the phone and saw who was calling.

Elizabeth will have another dramatic flashback apparently triggered by this incident, and Finn returns and apparently witnesses it. Finn tells her rather sternly not to turn away from herself and whatever burden she is carrying.
