General Hospital (GH) spoilers reveals Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) thought he was just offering to do a good deed when he extended his hand to Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen) and her search for her birth parents. Sure, he knows a bit more about the convoluted lies Harmony Miller (Inga Cadranel) allegedly told than Willow does, but he’s going to let sleeping dogs lie.
There’s no sense in telling Willow about another one of Harmony’s tall tales at this juncture. The way Drew sees it, Willow can remember Harmony in a more positive light than thinking she was making things up on her deathbed. However, when Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) finds out Drew has offered to help Willow on this journey, she’s not going to react the way he would’ve imagined, and that will throw him for a loop and make him think twice about Carly’s version of Harmony’s story.
General Hospital Spoilers — Drew Doesn’t Know What He Doesn’t Know
Simply put, Drew is in the dark. When Carly lied to him and said the DNA test showed Willow and Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) were not a match, she never would have imagined the two of them would end up connecting the way they did in Florida and becoming a couple. So now that they are, she’s assumed the truth will never come out anyway and that she can pretend it never happened. Besides, Willow had made it clear she didn’t want to know where she came from. However, that was months ago, and before the leukemia diagnosis that has left her in dire need of a bone marrow transplant from a blood relative. As long as neither Drew or Carly know the truth, they might not think Willow’s need to find her mom and dad is as pressing as it actually is.
GH Spoilers Suggest Carly Knows Too Much
While Drew is oblivious to Nina being Willow’s mother, Carly knowing is going to become far more burdensome than it’s been for the last few months. The thought crosses Carly’s mind now and then that she might be wrong for keeping Harmony’s confession to herself, but she also knows the kind of pain it would bring to her family and she’s convinced herself she’s trying to do right by everyone — including Harmony, who never wanted Willow to know the truth. That’s the thing about the truth though, it’s going to become rather unbearable for Carly to shoulder on her own. Who will she confide in if not Drew?
General Hospital Spoilers — This Can’t End Well
As Carly decides to open up to someone else, her allegiance to Drew will crumble even more. When he finds out she lied initially, he will explain that he would have forgiven her because he knew her intentions were good and she only wanted to protect him from having to be involved and keep the secret. However, when Carly goes to further lengths to keep the truth from Drew and cover her tracks, he’s going to recognize that Carly isn’t as ready for a relationship as she thought she was. Who might she choose to run to for help in fixing this mess she’s made? Could it be her ex-hubby, Sonny Corinthos’ (Maurice Benard)? Stay tuned for more General Hospital news and updates as they become available!
