GH Spoilers: Does Willow Have Leukemia?

General Hospital (GH) spoilers tease that something is not right with Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen). At the moment she is basking in the glow of being pregnant, and wants to tell everyone the good news that she and Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) are having a baby together.

But will what Michael doesn’t know sink their relationship? Willow is pregnant but she is also battling a mysterious medical condition, one that she is keeping from Michael. What is wrong with Willow?

General Hospital Spoilers – Does Willow Tait Have Leukemia?

Katelyn talked to Soap Opera Digest about her character’s latest plot point. When her doctor TJ Ashford (Tajh Bellow) informs her that he suspects she has leukemia, it is, “shocking and heartbreaking and terrifying,” for Willow. Willow panics over the window of time she may or may not have and, “being pregnant adds a whole other factor to it,” as she is terrified for her baby’s life.

Willow has already lost one infant and losing another child could be something she cannot recover from. If she lives.

GH Spoilers – Is Willow Tait Going To Live?

It turns out that Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) and Terry Randolph (Cassandra James) do a bone marrow biopsy on Willow to determine her prognosis. But, according to General Hospital spoilers, she decides to keep Michael in the dark and that will not be news he takes well.

“She feels like it’s not a one hundred percent diagnosis yet,” is how Katelyn describes Willow’s reluctance to speak up.

Willow will justify her silence by telling herself that Michael has a lot going on right now, and she doesn’t know the half of it! Michael is in up to his eyeballs in dirty deeds, trying to take down his mobster dad Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) from the inside. He has a plant named Dex (Evan Hofer) who is double crossing Sonny and it looks like both of them could pay a very steep price in the coming days.

In the meantime, when will Willow tell him what he needs to know? The rumor mill is in high gear with speculation that Willow will not survive and somehow her friend Sasha Gilmore (Sofia Mattsson) will raise the baby.
