General Hospital Spoilers: Sonny Is Going Down, And He’s Taking His Son With Him

General Hospital spoilers reveals Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) likes to think of himself as a family man, but he doesn’t take kindly to anyone messing with his business — not even his own kin. When he finds out Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) has been interfering in his world of organized crime, he just might give him one stern warning to stay in his lane.

If he and Michael are supposed to be out of one another’s lives, that should extend to their respective enterprises, right? The real problems surface when Sonny finds out Dex Heller (Evan Hofer) has been working for Michael. At first, he might think about taking him straight back to the Pozzulo’s meat freezer to let his carver do him in. But Dex has more in store for Sonny than Michael ever did. Sadly, Michael doesn’t know he’s playing with fire.

General Hospital Spoilers — Michael Corinthos Is The Least Of Sonny Corinthos ’s Worries

General Hospital spoilers say Michael has been bitter with Sonny all year. He doesn’t like the way his father handled his family affairs when he came back to town from Nixon Falls. Hiding his feelings for Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros), jumping into bed with her the moment Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) didn’t jump when he said jump, and defending Nina during the visitation trial for Wiley Corinthos (Viron Weaver) was just too much for Michael to bear.

He’s angry, resentful, and determined to undo the damage Sonny has done to the Corinthos name by dismantling his empire. Yet still, Michael isn’t the real threat to Sonny’s business, nor his personal freedom.

GH Spoilers – Hint Dex Heller Is Sonny Corinthos’s Son

While Sonny has been putting Dex through one test after the other to prove his loyalty, Dex has been testing Sonny’s patience the way all children do. Ah yes, Dex is Sonny’s son, and he’s come to Port Charles to seek revenge on the father who was never there for him. Years ago, Sonny’s first wife, Lily Corinthos (Lilly Melgar) was pregnant with their child when she was killed by a car bomb meant for him and planted by her own father — or so he wanted Sonny to think.

As it turns out, Lily’s father, Hernando Rivera (Ismael ‘East’ Carlo), kidnapped his daughter, who he held captive until she died in childbirth. Then, he raised her son — Dex — to believe Sonny abandoned him and his late mother in favor of his business. Dex is here to even the score and take everything from Sonny the same way he feels Sonny took the potential for a family from him.

Back in 2009, Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) came to town in much the same fashion, except he had no idea Sonny was his father while he was working as a cop to investigate him and take him down.

Sonny and Dante only came to know they were father and son after Sonny shot him upon discovering he was working undercover and lying to him. Much like Dante, Sonny will learn Dex is his son a bit too late. Will Dex survive, or will it be Sonny’s life that is in danger this time around?
