General Hospital Spoilers: Michael’s Encouragement, Willow’s Search For Family?

General Hospital spoilers and updates tease that Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) will encourage Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen) to publicize the search for her birth family. But Willow will be afraid to go about it that way, fearing dangerous people could come out of the woodwork with their own agendas.

General Hospital Spoilers – Drew Cain’s Idea, Carly Spencer Overhears

Michael’s mother, Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) overhears Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) suggesting the idea of publicizing Willow’s search, having exhausted other leads. Carly knows the truth – that Willow’s birth mother is right there in town, but it’s her rival, Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) and she’s keeping it to herself. Drew had caught her several months ago stealing a glass from Charlie’s Pub that Nina had drunk from, and she admitted the reason why.

Harmony Miller (Inga Cadranel) on her deathbed told her Nina was Willow’s mother but swore her to secrecy. Carly wanted Nina’s DNA to see if Harmony was truthful and Drew had helped her get Willow’s toothbrush for a comparison, but Carly had to tell the true results-she didn’t.

GH Spoilers – Not All Know Willow Tait’s Truth

Not all know Willow’s truth – she admitted to Drew that she has leukemia, and finally told Michael, so they know the reason why she’s looking for her family. But Carly doesn’t know this-all she knows is that she doesn’t want Drew to know she knows Nina’s Willow’s mother because she doesn’t want him to know she lied. Her grudge against Nina could be more perceived as more important to her than Willow’s health if it was known she was withholding this very vital information.

But, as it is, Carly’s not in the loop, so she convinces Michael that Drew has a great idea, since the trail has seemed to grow cold. Michael then tries to sell Willow on the idea, even though she’s very hesitant; but time is running out faster than clues.

General Hospital Spoilers – Wait—Isn’t This How Nelle Benson…?

It’s Willow herself who voices a major objection to this method, saying wait-isn’t this how Nelle Benson (Chloe Lanier) came into all their lives? Michael says yes, Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) had wanted to find out where her kidney came from after Jake Webber (Hudson West) was found alive. Nina had put an article in Crimson which attracted Nelle’s attention and she came to Port Charles looking for Carly, who she perceived had ruined her life.

Willow says there’s that Nina connection again; not liking Nina any more than Carly does and perhaps hates her worse. But Carly keeps encouraging  Michael to go along with Drew’s idea anyway, hoping to draw attention from herself knowing the truth and withholding it.
