General Hospital Spoilers: Britt’s Health Takes A Turn For The Worse

General Hospital - Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) General Hospital spoilers tease Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) has been ignoring the reality of her health for some time now. She’s grown used to expecting the worst and not looking forward to the future. For that reason, she hasn’t pursued one — not with any conviction anyway.

The worsening of her condition is going to make things all that much more painful that she’s recently found a new romance to entertain herself with. Cody Bell (Josh Kelly) was the last thing Britt was looking for when she indulged her mother by making good use of the gift she gave her — a one-year membership to Society Setups, an online dating subscription. Now that Britt has warmed up to Cody, she’s starting to feel like death warmed over. What gives?

General Hospital Spoilers — More Symptoms Rear Their Head

According to General Hospital spoilers, Britt has been dealing with infrequent symptoms of Huntington’s Disease for a couple of years now. Ever since she got the results of her genetic testing last year that confirmed she had the markers for it, she’s felt like a ticking time bomb as she’s waited for the symptoms to increase in severity and frequency. It appears that time is upon her now, and Britt isn’t eager to face the reality of her declining health head on. Fortunately, she’s not going to have to do it alone.

GH Spoilers – Tease Britt Westborne Is Not Alone

Sure, Britt has a few good people in her corner who could help her through this phase in her life. Her mom, Liesl Obrecht (Kathleen Gati), knows about her diagnosis, but that still doesn’t mean Britt wants to bother her with it. She’d rather let her family go on being happy and enjoying their time together before burdening them with the truth that the beginning of the end is upon them. The same goes for Liesl’s boyfriend, Scott Baldwin (Kin Shriner).

General Hospital Spoilers — Austin Holds Her Hand

Recently, Britt had strong words with a hospital vending machine and Austin Gatlin-Holt (Roger Howart) just happened to be within earshot. One thing led to another, and Austin made it clear he wasn’t prying, but he wasn’t falling for Britt’s act that she was okay either. When he pushed her to see a doctor about her symptoms, she was forced to reveal she already knew what they were related to. Breaking down in tears in front of Austin, Britt let someone in for the first time since Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) — and it just happened to be her former sister-in-law’s boyfriend. Time will tell how this secret between friends could upend her relationship with Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms). Stay tuned for more GH news, updates, and spoilers as this storyline unfolds!
