General Hospital Characters Who Need To Return: Dillon Quartermaine

General Hospital: Dillon Quartermaine General Hosptial spoilers reveal the ELQ wars about to heat up once again, but a lot will be voting by proxy as there aren’t enough Qs on screen anymore. While it might be hard for the soap to get Jane Elliot to return more often as our beloved Tracy Quartermaine. But why not her son, Dillon Quartermaine?

General Hospital Spoilers – Why Did Dillon Quartermaine Ever Really Leave?

When GH wrote the latest iteration of Dillon Quartermaine, played by Robert Palmer Watkins, off the show it seemed to be for no reason. He was in a popular pairing with Kiki Jerome (Hayley Erin) and left his girlfriend to go make a movie out west, falling for someone else and not telling Kiki until she decided to go visit. That was very out-of-character for Dillon and he never even got a chance to explain himself on screen.

Meanwhile, he is a necessary legacy character whose been missing for too long. Now that ELQ is back in the forefront with warring factions of the family, Dillon should be there to support his brother who is trying to be squeezed out by whiny pretender Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) and smiley Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison), who is not sure what direction he wants to go, but seems to be siding with Michael. However, both of these men are newbies to the Q fold and both Dillon and Ned Quartermaine (Wally Kurth) grew up in it. Who better than to swoop in and side with Ned and Valentin Cassadine?

GH Spoilers – Dillon Quartermaine Could Use A Love Interest

With Kiki Jerome firmly gone after Ryan Chamberlain (Jon Lindstrom) killed her in the most gruesome way, there are definitely eligible women in Port Charles. Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) needs a man who does not have a secret past with Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamrogna) and Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) has zero chemistry with Austin Holt (Roger Howarth), so perhaps she can fall for the man her sister, Georgie Jones, once loved as a teen.

There are plenty of story possibilities for a character like Dillon that it’s foolish to keep hiring these new actors to play new characters and not bring back legacies like Dillon who have real ties to core families on GH. We’re sure Robert Palmer Watkins would be happy to play the role and fans are already familiar with him. Maybe it could happen. Stay tuned to General Hospital weekdays to see if it ever does.
