DOOL Spoilers: Ava’s Plot Backfires, Tripp And Steve’s Bomb Blast?

Days of Our Lives spoilers and rumors tease that Ava Vitali’s (Tamara Braun) bomb plot might backfire. It looks like Steve Johnson (Stephen Nichols) and Tripp Johnson (Lucas Adams) will be caught in the bomb blast, meant to kill EJ DiMera (Dan Feurreriegel).

Days Of Our Lives Spoilers – Ava Vitali Sets A Bomb At St. Luke’s

Ava has been sneaking into the DiMera mansion and hiding and listening to any details she might be able to find out. She found EJ’s plans for Susan Banks’ (Stacy Haiduk) memorial on his legal pad and decided she wanted someone else to die-EJ. She goes about making her plans, getting to the church on time to set her bomb and the timer, which is a clock she hides on a table in the church.

Ava doesn’t try to hide her presence at St. Luke’s however – first she’s confronted by Johnny DiMera (Carson Boatman) and she does some covering for herself. Then Tripp shows up and confronts EJ, and she gets in between them as they start to fight, denying she’s responsible for Susan’s death; after all, why would she be there?

DOOL Spoilers – Steve Johnson Also Attends To Show His Respects

Steve also shows up to pay his respects to Susan, because she was a good friend to many. Her psychic abilities even helped close a few cases, such as helping Ben Weston (Robert Scott Wilson) find a presumed dead Ciara Weston (Victoria Konefal). So now Ava knows that both her son and his birth father are in a church that she’s set a bomb to explode in, but doesn’t try to make them leave?

Either Ava is deluded or her dead son Charlie Dale (Mike C. Manning) is advising her what to do again, and she’s listening to him. Will Ava herself even get out in time to save her own life, or does she plan to go out in a blaze of glory herself?

Days Of Our Lives Spoilers – The Countdown Begins

The memorial service begins and so does the countdown on the clock, which is ticking away until the explosion. Ava has placed the bomb where it will have maximum impact, in the seating area of the church where a photo of Susan sits, lacking a body or remains. Tick-tick-tick-tick the timer ticks down, and out in Horton Town Square near the Christmas tree Brady Black (Eric Martsolf) and Eric Brady (Greg Vaughan) hear the blast.

They have family inside St. Luke’s as well, so they likely both rush to the scene. Meanwhile, in the rubble inside the burning building two men lie-Steve and Tripp; will Brady and Eric arrive in time to save them?
