First, we had some fun costumes and a scary clown, but then things took a turn when a vengeful Ava Vitali (Tamara Braun) tried to get all the help she could to bring down EJ DiMera (Daniel Feuerriegel) and but nobody of this world wanted to be a part of this.

So, somehow she finds help not of this world in the form of her dead son, Charlie Dale (Mike Manning), the one who raped Allie Horton and fathered her son, Henry. Charlie is definitely a sinister type so he has lots of dangerous and deadly advice for his mom regarding what she can do to EJ for payback, but will this payback serve to backfire in Ava’s face?

Since Stephanie Johnson (Abigail Klein) didn’t manage to do the job she promised to do one week before the big election, Paulina Price Carver (Jackee Harry) promptly fires her and Stephanie feels like a complete failure. Sure, she never worked on a political campaign before and never had to do that kind of grunt work, but it doesn’t look like Paulina cares. She wanted that file from Sloan Petersen (Jessica Serfaty) and that was that.

At least Chad DiMera is there to lend her comfort, but will this comfort be more than just a friend and someone to talk to? It might be too soon for Chad to move on, but maybe for one day he just wants to forget.
