B&B Spoilers – Shauna Fulton Takes Blame

When Zoe confronted Carter about his mystery woman and saw the jacket, she started to suspect Quinn. Shauna immediately took the blame by grabbing the jacket. Even though the two women have been friends forever, don’t expect this friendship to last forever.

During an interview with TV Insider, Richards said that there was no hesitation on Shauna’s part to take the blame. In fact, she mentioned that it’s always been the nature of the friendship. The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers reveal that Shauna has always been Quinn’s fall girl, which doesn’t sound too healthy to us.

“I think Shauna really, really respects Eric and really likes him and likes [Quinn and Eric] together but she didn’t even flinch when jumping in to cover for her friend. She was going to take the fall for it and I think for Shauna and Quinn, that’s their history, that’s their relationship.”

B&B Spoilers – Toxic Friendship

We saw during the Burn “Bridge” scheme that Shauna repeatedly wanted to stop and confess the truth. However, Quinn kept pushing her to stay quiet and just be happy with Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye). This pressure and bullying-like behavior, along with Shauna always taking the blame isn’t healthy. A true friend will stand up and help the other, but there needs to be a trade-off. And it certainly shouldn’t be expected.

Perhaps it is time for this toxic friendship to end? Maybe that’s why Shauna makes the mistakes that she does because she doesn’t have a real friendship. If she surrounded herself with women that had more of a moral compass, then Shauna might have a chance. Let us know what you think.
